How many gallons can the API General Cure bulk (30 oz? The largecontainer you have ) treat?
Answer by ChewySep 29, 2019
You must add 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) for every 5 gallons of aquarium water. The 1.25 ounce treats 10 U.S. gallons of fresh or salt water and the 4 ounce bottle treats 118 U.S. gallons of fresh or salt water

Is it safe for crabs?
Answer by ChewyMar 23, 2021
The Super Ick Cure does not contain copper or other heavy metals, so this product is able to be used with crustaceans in the aquarium. With any sensitive species, we urge caution in making sure that the product is used at the correct dose for only the amount of water within the aquarium (account for water displacement by substrate, decorations, etc). If in doubt, always err on the side of caution and use the half dose.

Does this product harm the beneficial bacteria colony in an established aquarium?
Answer by ChewyDec 24, 2019
This medication usually does not hurt the beneficial bacteria that much.

I have a 45 gal tank and I'm pretty sure more than half are infected. if I remove the plants and rocks can I just medicate the whole tank? I don't have a second tank to keep them in.
Answer by ChewyMay 17, 2021
We recommend following the manufacturer's instruction for dosing. Please see attached image for reference.

helped so much!

This helped clear out the ick so much faster than anything else I tried to use! I originally used a fin and body cure that I was recommended but it only made everything worse and made my fish die faster and in the end 95% of my fish died. This stopped my fish from dying almost immediately and I seen results very fast. Thank you so much for such a great product! Hopefully it doesn’t happen again but if it does (especially in my quarantine tank) I will for sure be buying this again!

Liquid Super Ick Super Quick

Had to find something for a bad infestation of Ick in our 47 gallon high tank. If I had known then what I know now, I would keep this stuff in stock. I'd had tanks for years but 55s and 40 of normal height. I'm short and even with a ladder have a hard time with this 36" deep tank. Only have gold fish but many problems with Ick and this stuff works great. Bought half a dozen bottles for two weeks of medicating the tank and finally, relief! The fish are doing well and everything looks good. Totally happy with this product.

API Liquid Super Ick Cure

It did remove the spots, but not all the scratching. I've had to do 6 treatments, water changes, removal of the charcoal, and raising of the temperature. I think the parasites are now gone, but it sure took longer than I anticipated.

This is extremely good medication

My babies where illing followed the instructions and now they are feeling much better. Lost one but saved three others, should have started the treatment sooner.

No More Ick

Super Ick Cure cured my sick fish. However, it does stain your tank decoration. So, take them out when treating your tank or they will turn a blue/green color.

This is a great brand. The bottle is large enough for full treatment and measuring cap makes it easier to use.
