Description

Treat fungus and bacterial infections quickly and safely with API's Pimafix Infection Remedy for freshwater and saltwater fish. Bacterial diseases are caused mostly by dirty aquarium conditions and adding infected fish. Fish that are injured and have open wounds are especially susceptible, even in seemingly clean tanks. Fungal infections, like cottony growth, and bacterial infections, like fin and tail rot, can damage tissue and other organs. Pimafix is an all-natural, broad-spectrum treatment made from the antifungal properties of the West Indian Bay tree. It is formulated to not only treat disease, but develop resistance. It's safe for reef aquariums and live plants and should not adversely affect the biological filter, alter pH or discolor water.

I used it with melodic by the next day my fish looked better and his fins and everything is regrowing. Got a couple of new fish off offer up that we’re sick and within a day I saw the difference as well. Great product and great company. May be pricey at stores but with chewy you save a couple of bucks and it works!!

    Slider Turtles w/ Fungus

    By on

Worked like a charm for my yellow bellied slider turtles. One had accumulated some wispy white fungus on his skin. This cleared it up in a few days and now he's back to normal!

    Does Not Work

Before purchasing this product I would highly recommend purchasing methylene blue treatment. It is cheaper and more effective!

    Really helps

    By on

We had a bad time recently and one of our loaches had an ulcerated spot and a lyretail swordfish was looking a little ragged. Took out the activated charcoal filter and used with Melafix and it fixed them up pretty quickly.

    Shake well.

I love this stuff because I love the smell of it. My fish hate it because of the smell, but they're stuck in a tank and can't escape, so tough cookies for them. It's my go-to.
