How are the fish species that you use collected? Are they live harvested in nets? Are the contamination levels measured prior to your packaging he fish? Are your all your proteins processed in the USA? Sorry to be so finicky.

Zignature gets their ingredients from quality sources around the world. The Trout, Salmon and Whitefish come from the Pacific Northwest and everything is put through rigorous testing to ensure safety. All of their recipes are manufactured in the United States.

During the process of making the kibble at what temperature is the kibble cooked and for how long is it cooked at that said temperature ?

During the process of production, the product enters the extruder and the extrusion process begins to heat it. The product rises from 200 degrees Fahrenheit to 240-265 degrees Fahrenheit at 2-3 bars of pressure over the 10-15 seconds while in the extruder barrel.

Is this a small bite kibble

This food is not a small bite kibble since it is for dogs of all sizes. The kibble size is on average 10mm to 12mm in diameter, and 3mm to 4mm thick.

Zignature manufacturer, is ethoxyquin added to the raw fishmeal before it is shipped to be processed ? Can you guarantee this food is ethoxyquin free ?

Zignature confirms that they don’t include synthetic preservatives such as ethoxyquin in their dry or wet food (Zignature is preserved naturally with mixed tocopherols).

This is the first fish food I’ve been able to tolerate. It’s there if you sniff down in the bag really hard but it’s very tolerable
