How much bedding do I have to use for my 10 gallon terrarium??
To determine how much bedding is needed would depend on the thickness that is being set up for the terrarium. This bedding is recommended to have a minimum 2-inch depth. Is this substrate good for ball pythons.
This aspen bedding is suitable for use with ball pythons.

You liked it! Something went wrong. Please try again later.Typically, Aspen bedding is too dusty for Ball Pythons or other snakes with heat pits(they can get clogged). Coco or Cypress are always a better bet as they are not nearly as dusty and retain humidity way better.

Is this good substrate for a corn snake?
Corn snakes can be housed on Zoo Med’s Aspen Snake Bedding, Forest Floor cypress mulch, or ReptiBark. We recommend a substrate layer of 2-3 inches in depth. Provide moistened New Zealand Sphagnum Moss in a Repti Shelter to create a humidity chamber. This chamber will help your snake loosen its skin ...more before it sheds. Zoo Med’s Eco Carpet can be used as a safe, environmentally friendly, and easy-to-clean substrate.
