The best I’ve found!
My kitten LOVES this food! I’m very picky about food quality for myself, so unsurprisingly, when I adopted my kitten, I was very picky about the quality of her food! We ended up trying a few different brands before finding Applaws. As many reviews say: this is human grade food. Fish, brown rice, broth (and the cutest tiny shrimp!). You can clearly see all the ingredients and feel good about what you’re feeding them! She loves all the flavors in this pack and seems to be happy with the variety. She’s about 9 months old and 7lbs, so she’s still growing and depending on the day her appetite changes. She has a half a can mid morning and the other half for dinner, she also always has dry food available to supplement.
Finicky Eater Satisfied
My senior cat is a finicky/dainty eater and she would keep us up till late at night waiting for her to finish her wet food! The day she had her first taste of Applaws, she inhaled all of it in one sitting! She no longer waits till 9 or 10 PM to eat! She must have been tired of eating chicken, turkey and beef. Thanks Applaws for your seafood entrees! Both my cats even eat the shrimp pieces now.
All these selections are winners!
Love the Applaws line, and more importantly, my 7 cats appear to love these choices as well. Simple straightforward ingredients without fillers or additives. All of these varieties are winners for felines in terms of taste as well. If they won't eat it, healthy food doesn't do them a lot of good. I'm pleased that they will eat Applaws with relish. Glad that Chewy started carrying this brand. Although these cans come with a fair amount of liquid, I still add some extra water into the mix. My cats drink it all down. Kind of like infused water we might drink, only theirs is tuna or fish infused. I figure it gives them extra hydration.
Food good. Can bad.
My cat likes the food but the can is way too big for one cat to eat so it has to be refrigerated and then she doesn’t like it cold or microwaved. The metal lid is also too thick and so very hard to open. Won’t get again as too much hassle. Will stick with Fancy Feast.
MY CATS LOVE THIS
I have 5 cats - they are finicky and only eat certain foods. They all love this one -- it is similar to appearance to regular tuna fish in a can that humans would buy/consume. I definitely am keeping this on my auto-ship rotation.
all paws in for this one
I tried this looking for options with more liquid and flavor, for some of my older kitties. All the flavors were a hit and that never happens. Clean plates, all the way around; this is on my auto ship
My cats refused to eat this
Unfortunately my rebel cats :p would not eat this food. It looks like fabulous, human grade quality food but my cats rejected it 100%. Another food headed to the local shelter and hopefully those kitties will love it.
Great Selection
I bought the chicken selection and the seafood selection. They are both great...and don't smell like cat food!
Not a balanced diet
My cat loves this but it's not a balanced diet. Just a treat. So a little disappointed on that as I purchased and should have looked mor thoroughly. The cat gives it a 5/5.
cat food for bella
did not realize the cans were so big and not sure now what to do because the one with shrimp she does not like and I usually do not purchase cans that big. not your fault but not sure what to do other than give it to a shelter but now no food here that she will eat and cost more than I normally pay for cat food.
