Cloudy water
I would not recommend these because my water is STILL cloudy. Norm Ph nitrates etc.

This works great with my Aquaclear 110 filter. So Glad chewy had them!
Great medium for biological bacteria
As long as you preserve the bacteria living on this medium, you seldom have to worry about a biological crash in your tank.
Much cheaper here
I always check Chewy now before going to the local pet store....9 times out of 10 I will find it cheaper here. All of my fish died in the Arctic weather we had here in Texas, I tried all I could to keep them alive but was unable without any heat source. I will continue to buy here once I rebuild my tank in the future.

I would purchase this product at my local aquarium store, but Chewy's prices and availability could not be compared.

It's a filter insert-it fits well and does the job of maintaining clear water.
Love the Aqua Clear Biomax Filter Insert
I have used the Aqua Clear Biomax filter insert for two years and love it. I do not change monthly because I use the sponge, carbon and ammonia inserts. I only change the Biomax filter insert every 4 months. I change one filter media per month. Keeps my aquarium fresh and clear. Even after water changes and cleaning it takes about 15 min for my 20gal tank to get clear again . Love this product.
Can't go wrong with biomax
Perfect size I bought this to go inside the S10 filter in the first chamber. I've used these for years and they last forever. everyone should run some of these it just in case you have to set up a new aquarium than you've got biological media ready to go.
