The AquaClear Mini Activated Carbon Filter Insert is a replacement filter insert that uses the power of activated carbon to help maintain a clean freshwater or saltwater tank. The premium research-grade carbon creates a large surface area that absorbs impurities and removes odors and discoloration for a clear aquarium. It’s designed as part of the AquaClear system that provides three types of filtration: mechanical, chemical and biological. Works exactly as it should. Fits most 5 to 20 gal filters. Use It in our 5 gal saltwater tank. Fits fine in the filter ! Helps keep the waternclesn when paired with the ammonia remover and the sponge ! Much cheaper on chewy then local box petstore

Handy little carbon packs

These are a great value. I use them in my hang-on-back Fluval filter and in a Nuvo 10 saltwater aquarium. They do the job!
