    Great distraction during a bath!

    Bought the large (square) lickmat intending to use it during my dog's baths, and it worked! It was larger than I expected (about the size of a composition workbook) but the extra surface area actually helped, since my dog was clearly trying to scarf down all the peanut butter as fast as possible so he Bought the large (square) lickmat intending to use it during my dog's baths, and it worked! It was larger than I expected (about the size of a composition workbook) but the extra surface area actually helped, since my dog was clearly trying to scarf down all the peanut butter as fast as possible so he could attempt his great escape without regrets. Suction cups adhered well to my shower wall, and it took my dog most of his bath to eat off the frozen layer of peanut butter despite the warmer temps in the bathroom. Clean-up afterwards (hand washing) wasn't too bad either. Would definitely recommend for other pups - it made bath time an easier process for all of us. … more

    Maybe for another dog?

    I'm sure, based on the reviews, that other people's dogs love this! My pup was not interested at all. I'm not sure if the texture of the spikes was uncomfortable or what, but he would 100% just prefer I put some squeeze cheese on our shower wall while bathing him and call it a day. We've even tried this I'm sure, based on the reviews, that other people's dogs love this! My pup was not interested at all. We've even tried this mat as another of our separation anxiety toys (when we leave, we tried filling it with squeeze cheese or peanut butter, as recommended by our behaviorist), and he maybe licked the top layer of cheese before giving up (as opposed to our Kong bone or westpaw toppl) … more
