This light is fantastic for my 29gal long aquarium. HOWEVER, I made it fit on my aquarium. It says it works on lipped rim aquariums. But it took a ton of fiddling to get it to work correctly. She is hanging on with hopes and dreams. I still LOVE it though!
I really like this light. Using it over an indoor mini pond. It attached to the side of the tank easily, provides good light for my fish and plants, and is a perfect size. Would buy again.
I studied the photos of how the light attaches to the aquarium and yet when I got it I found it would not work on an older Aquarium with the ridge around the top Edge. So it's barely hanging on to the aquarium and I will have to replace it with a whole different setup.
A light in an aquarium is only for our benefit but this is a great light for the purpose.
It produces a nice color and it reaches to the bottom of the tank
It's just what I needed love the touch to turn it on and off
Received the led light for fishtank less than a month ago. Now it's not working at all.
Bought this for my 10 gallons betta tank. Works great, but the light gets hot and stays hot when on. I suspect if it is really LED. Otherwise it is good.
Bought this for my nephew's 10 gallon tank. Works great and just the correct size. Sister says it was easy to install and she loves it.
This is my second Aqueon light. The first one broke and could not be repaired. This light is not as bright, nor does it have the lighting strength that the first one did, hence I am seeing a bit more algae growth with this light. I have all live plants in my 3-gallon aquarium, so I wanted something bright enough to grow the plants. This light does not have the blue-light only feature either. So, my final review comment: Eh....it's okay, but not as good as the first one I had.
