Super Bright replacement hood

Thankful that Aqueon created an updated alternative to the original lighed cover for the 15g Tall tanks, as this is much brighter and cleaner looking than my 8 year old top! However, the LEDs are SO BRIGHT, I do wish there was a dimmer feature. Overall, very pleased with the purchase!

Perfect fit

I measured beforehand and was hoping for the best. I had bought my 15 gallon column tank off the side of the road yard sale and had no idea the make or model the top it came with was in bad shape broken and old so I got rid of it. I've been living without a cover for a while until chewy came to the rescue! Thanks chewy!

LED Replacement Aquarium Hood

So far, so good. Aqueon must have switched to LED just after I bought my set-up with a fluorescent fixture. After replacing fluorescent tubes several times, I decided to try LED. I will see how it goes. It says in the instructions not to get the lights wet, but there is no water preventative casing on the light fixtures.

Great hood w/LED Lighting

I bought this product because the hood on the original 15 gal column tank stopped working (the florescent light got corroded from the moisture of the tank) and the florescent tubes are expensive and they don't last very long. I found this hood and tried it out. The lighting on the tank looks great and they're energy efficient, so I am very happy with this hood.
