This tank is excellent for beginner fish keepers that are new to the hobby. I would only see a betta fish best kept in this aquarium, but not as a permanent enclosure for one. The filter isn’t the best option out there, but in my experience kept the water crystal clear.

I bought this tank for one of my frogs that kept trynna kill my other animals in the tank it was in. I already knee that I was gonna end up changing the filter out of this tank just becauseof the design of it, but I was still gonna use it until I got a new one. I've set up the tank about an hour ago and the filter was running pretty well for the first 15-20 minutes before it lost suction. Luckily the skimmer part of the filter is still working fine, but I'm not gonna risk putting my frog in there and it stop working completely. 4/10 wouldn't recommend. … more

Tank is nice enough, but don’t expect the filter to last.

Nice tank!
By Duffy on Sep 28, 2020
I wish I'd gone bigger but only because I love how this tank looks. I would love to add a kuhli loach but the tank is too small for more than just a betta to live happily.

Good tank, filter too strong for betta
By Court on Sep 20, 2020
This filter is WAY too strong for a betta. I had to shove a sponge in the suction tube to slow it down and it's still a bit too much. Otherwise decent tank.

Mini Bow 2.5 Gallon
By Bonnee on Sep 6, 2020
It is great for my betta and some snails. I can only give it 4 stars because the filter pump is not that great ... and the replacement filters IMO are too expensive. Other than that ... it fits my needs for now.

great starter tank
By Pittiemomma on Sep 4, 2020
I bought two of these in January for two Betta fish. Easy to put together, easy to clean and change filter. Have had no issues in 8 months and Bettas seem happy. I like the light it comes with. I added some bright gravel and neon plants and tank looks so bright and nice. Would purchase again.

It’s a very nice tank for the price
By Patricia on Aug 21, 2020
The tank is a great value for the price. The filter works good too and is very quiet if you hold the filter in the beginning completely under water so he can work proper after the installation. I can recommend this tank for 1 fish.

Too small for fish
By fishfriend on Aug 16, 2020
These are garbage! They are to small and you will be slowly killing your betta/any fish. For it to live properly you need at least a 5gal tank (more is better). The basic rule is for every inch your fish will grow to be stupid be 1.5 gallons, but you should do your research first to make sure.
