    Good for raising fry

    By on

This tank is good for raising guppy fry. Originally I got it as a quarantine tank but the female guppies arrived pregnant. I kept it heavily planted and the female guppy dropped her fry and now I'm raising 10 fry in it and they love it. I had to get a heater as it doesn't come with heater. Not suitable for anything bigger than fry.

    Way too small for fish

    By on

This tank is way too small for fish! It is easier to maintain and better for the fish to at least get a 5+ gallon tank for a single betta. I can't imagine keeping anything is here except maybe, maybe a couple shrimp but you would still be doing tons of water changes

    Okay for snails

    By on

I bought this when pest snails began taking over my aquarium. It's a good size and I enjoyed the filter + lights. The filter has not lasted more than a year and it'll be tough to find a replacement that fits.

    Not for betta fish!!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Or any other fish!! It is TOO SMALL. It would work to put betta in while cleaning it's bigger home. 5 gallon tank is the recommended size (by breeders of bettas) for 1 betta.

    Great Betta Aquarium!

    By on

Love this little guy! I bought my Betta as a small baby so this is the only tank he knows! He loves it too! I change the water every month and he always makes a bubble nest for me, telling me he is happy! There is plenty of room for "Bernie" to swim even with the little plants. I turn the light off each night and turn it back on in the morning! He enjoys sitting by the kitchen sink getting lots of attention! The filters are a bit spendy, but they do a great job and I buy 3-4 packs at a time cause our pet store runs out. This tank is 31.00 at our Petco so if I decide to get another tank and Betta, I will for sure buy from Chewy at 20.00.

    nice little tank

    By on

Good tank for the money. I removed the filter that comes with it only because the replacement cartridges are so expensive. I put an external filter in the back for more tank space and to run other media like carbon. Tank up for 8 months with small weekly water changes and looks great. I only rated at four stars because of the cost of media replacement on the original filter that comes with it.

It was very easy to assemble and took no time at all to set up. The LED light and filter it came with are amazing. I'm very pleased.

    Great Little Tank

    By on

I was pleasantly surprised with this little tank. The filter is very quiet and the light is bright. My beta loves his new home. I will buy this one again.
