The light says 18" minimum, It's over 18" long though - more like 19.5". I wanted it to set inside my 18.25" long window on my aquarium, instead it straddled the window and slid around when my cats jumped around it. Not to mention is was fairly dim for 24 LEDs, but I guess that's why it's on sale.
Basic light fixture that can be operated manually or connected to a timer. I purchased this model to replace an old Coral Life unit that had developed an electrical short. This Aqueon model offers only two light options-white or blue. It is not programmable; however you do not need to have an IT certificate or a cell phone to operate it. If you just want a basic reliable aquarium light without fancy options, this unit maybe an option for you.
Really like this light, especially the simplicity of it. It puts out a bright crisp light on my 55 gallon tank. Looks good on the aquarium too. I especially like the soft touch, on off controls built into the housing. I liked this so much I got another one for my 29 gallon tank.
The second one I have bought. Both different sizes. EASY to operate exactly what I wanted.
The touch censor for the daytime light stopped working and won’t turn on at all after two short months. Extremely annoying, and will have to buy another light now
I got this because it's a light bar for glass top. Also one of the questions for this product ask if work for timer. Answer says yes. I got it it does not.
The box was not as shown it was a normal brown box and the box were damaged. Whole packing look like a fake.
