This is not your typical light. I was born in the incandescent era. This simulates sunrise, sunset, and has a moon phase. It is awesome.
Great light!
I have many aquarium lights and this one is one of my favorites. Very bright and has a lot of adjustments. You can adjust color and brightness easily with the remote. Also love the timer! Light will turn off and on even if I’m leaving early or coming home late! It’s even better if your going out of town for a few days. The adjustability and timer is well worth the price difference.
Finally a good light!
Been out of the hobby for a couple years but decided to get back into it. Been keeping fish and fresh water aquariums for about 20 years with numerous inhabitants with and without live plants. Lightning has always been an issue, especially with live plants. Big, clubby, hot, and an electric bill from you know where because of them. So I went down and asked my "go to" shop keeper and friend on what is one of the best lights out there that won't break the bank and perform without always being in the way, and cooking my fish. And I came home, hooked it up, and to my surprise it ROCKS! I've been using it for some time and for an LED light, it puts out perfectly! I've got an older 110 gallon Aqueon tank which is a fairly deep tank,18", and my plants are thriving! Hard to believe. Now I'm not saying that it's a metal halide output light, but it works perfectly. Not to mention how well it brings out the colors of the fish. It's built in sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset timer is nice. Several colors to choose from and all operated by a handheld remote! No more moving the light to feed or to turn it on or off. You can't beat it for the price! Definitely 5 STAR RATING FROM ME!
Very cool light
This light is very cool.. Extremely bright with alot of options! The wireless remote control makes it extremely easy with custom color buttons. It's got a built in timer as well which also has options to slowly turn on and slowly turn off to mimic sunrise and sunset.. It does not got hot either. Very nice light.. Especially for the price.. Thanks again chewy!!

I bought 2 different aquarium lights in the past 2 months and they’ve both gone put on me within a month of using. Definitely switching over to another brand. Though while it did work it worked pretty well
Great light but little to now features
I actually have this light set up I'm my saltwater tank with some torch and hammer corals. Believe it or not they are actually thriving. I dont plan on staying with this light for long though, as it still does not the recommended specs I need for my tank and also has no features to customize. If your looking for something good for a freshwater tank to grow plants then I hear this is a decent starter light.

Beginner tank
Great quality, LEDs perfect for my low light plants. Control is easy to use and so is the timer. Highly recommend for the control and color options.
