Description

With the Aqueon Siphon Vacuum with Priming Bulb Aquarium Gravel Cleaner, performing quick water changes is super easy. This useful siphon efficiently separates debris from gravel for convenient cleaning. A simple pump of the priming bulb quickly primes the hose to start water flow. Just the right amount of suction is applied to lift and agitate the gravel. Debris is effectively separated, pulled away with the flowing water and disposed of while the gravel falls back down to the aquarium floor. Changing the water and removing debris from gravel is part of necessary maintenance for a healthy and balanced aquarium.

  • Includes 6-foot flexible hose, hose clip, intake tube and priming bulb pump

    Siphon cleaner

    By on

Well there’s no directions on package of which package is just a piece of laminated plastic. Initially I could prime to siphon water from tank, past primer then into bucket but the flow wasn’t maintaining. I took apart shot hose water through primer made sure all hoses were installed securely and tried again. Worked very well water volume very good thru primer bubble. Cleaned out very well afterwards.

This is the worst gravel cleaner

    By on

It didnt work. I tried to clean my 5 gallon tank and got so angry and yanked the hose off both sides. I threw it away. If you dont have patience dont buy! it literally took me 30 minutes to try and make it work. I hated it rather buy API GRAVEL VACUUM.

    Works perfectly

Smelled a little funny when I first got it, but after a few uses the smell went away. Gets the job done quickly and without too much effort. It was exactly what I wanted and needed.

    Awful pump

    By on

Item leaked all around the suction bulb and only a trickle of water would suction out at a time. Regardless of which way it was put together. Waste of money.

    To big for my tank

    By on

I misunderstood how big this was so it does not work at all for me. Good product for a big tank but I have 6 inches of water and a small tank for a tiny turtle. Will be purchasing a smaller one if I can figure out which one will work.

Siphon pump was worthless on my 55 & my 75 gallon tank. I thought the siphon pump would make it easier but after squeezing about 30-40 times I gave up & went back to my garden hose system.

    No more Struggle

    By on

I used to have a different kinda without the squeeze part to start the suction...this makes it so much easier. We use the vaccum to drain and to clean the wafers off the bottom of the tank.

    Stopped working after 1 use

    By on

This worked flawlessly the first time, second time not so much. The bulb became too weak with a few squeezes that it can no longer created enough suction to start siphoning. Will be looking for a refund
