    would buy again

Hello! I purchased this product a few weeks ago and it is doing a great job keeping my tank warm for my fish. It was easy to install and work. Even easy to adjust the temp if needed!

Going to talk to chewy about it.. bought 2 150s for my 125g, one makings a rather persistent popping sound like wood creaking.. they heat the water fine but I had to unplug that one.. this is why you divide your heaters :)

  • Well, it does the job, but...

I have the thermostat of my 50 watt heater in my 5.5 gallon tank set all the way up to 84 degrees. It does turn on and off, but the temp has yet to reach 80, which is where I want it. It's close enough and keeping things constant, but just worries me having it set on 84.
