Ordered this because the litter box had to be in the open living space so I wanted to disguise it and this does the trick. Looks like a piece of furniture. They shelf is nice to keep the bags and litter scooper in and the top is sturdy to add decorative items. My 17 year old daughter put it together without a problem. After reading the reviews she just took her time and did not over tighten the screws. Wood came together and no splintering. My only complaint is that the opening could be bigger. My cats are using it but if you have a large cat they may not fit in through the hole. Also, make sure you check out the measurements before you by the littler box to make sure it fits. Happy with the purchase.
The design is very nice, and it looks great. However, it's rather flimsy and keeps falling apart whenever I try moving it, which is very frustrating. Wood glue might help with this issue somewhat, but it's not supposed to be required to assemble it. Additionally, the back of the cabinet is slightly too tall so I could not get the top on correctly. I will need to shave off part of it so it will actually function as it is supposed to.
This looks great and is very functional. My new kitten likes to toss litter as far from the box as possible, and this enclosed box prevents my entire floor from being covered with litter. Plus, it looks great! I put kitty supplies on the shelf and some cheery plants on top. Before I searched Chewy, I didn't know that this type of litterbox enclosure even existed. I am glad it does! (p.s. it was easy to assemble, according to my husband)
I read the reviews and they looked pretty great. So I’m bummed my experience wasn’t the same. While putting it together I realized some of the pre-cut holes and grooves were on the wrong sides. I checked so many times to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong, but alas, things weren’t adding up. So I had to improvise. This is probably the reason it’s not sturdy. But I had already opened it and begun putting it together. It looks nice but I’m definitely going to need to use some glue to strengthen the structure. I would suggest getting it but only if you can take the chance of needing to do some extra work yourself. Not worth the $100+ price tag.
