Are there non-slip grips on the base? Or will these slide on wood floors?
Answer by ChewyNov 05, 2019
These stairs include a bonus pack of floor protecting pads.

What us the depth of each step? Is it appropriate for a 56 pound arthritic heeler/ Australian shepherd mix?
Answer by ChewyDec 17, 2019
This product is tested to support over 100 pounds of weight and the depth of each step is 6.5 inches.

Are these made of wood or plastic? I need them for a screened porch to get into a “doggie window” but don’t want them to warp in humid weather.
Answer by ChewyAug 01, 2019
These stairs are made out of wood with durable fabric-lined steps to protect your pet's paws and prevent slippage

Will not use!

When I purchased this I realized that cats are fickle and use what they want. But with 3 older cats I figured one would. No luck. And the packaging is gone so no chance for return. Product is solid and well made. I would suggest the stair covering be made up of a thicker carpet material but some animals won't like that. Bottom line, if the pet uses it it's a great product BUT save your packaging.

Useful Item

These stairs look reasonably attractive, seem quite sturdy, fold up neatly, and are not too heavy to move with one arm. To reach our 27” high bed, they have to be set in the highest notch, which makes them steeper than our Sussex Spaniel would prefer. However she is, at four years old, still limber and strong enough to manage it.

Workers greart for my SMALL dog

I have a 10 year old maltipoo. She keeps trying to jump on the bed. I hope this breaks that habit. She runs up the stairs fine. Going down the stairs she is having some difficulties. I recorded her doing it. Wish I was able to post it. I literally just opened it and had her go up and down the stairs.

Sturdy but slippery

The stairs are very sturdy but they are too steep for even my small terriers. The fabric on the stairs is very thin and too slippery. All three of my small dogs had trouble getting up and down them.

Stairway to heaven!

We bought a new bed which is much higher. Our old, arthritic cat could not jump from the shorter steps she used to get on lower bed. We bought these new steps which get her high enough to step onto the bed. They are a little more difficult for her to climb as they are steeper but she manages and doesn’t miss any bed smuggling time.

Very nice but steep

I have a tall bed so I have these set at the highest height they will go. My dog (shih tzu) will go up them fine. But they are so steep coming down he is afraid to try. So he waits for me to get him down from the bed. If my bed wasn't so tall, they probably would be better.

Not Stable!

Perfect size, but not stable enough. My dog could be walking down the stairs and it moves. Can’t trust it.

Excellent Quality Pet StairsI

I ordered the foldable pet stairs in white because I tripped over my black stairs (not from Chewy) in the dark one night - ouch! This pet step is of excellent quality and I would highly recommend this item. It has several height settings and will fold when not in use. It is perfect for my 16 lb. dogs.
