Read All 9 Positive ReviewsGate works fine if you put it up correctly

After reading some of the other reviews and owning this gate myself for the last 10 months, I found it odd that this gate had such a low rating. I have 3 dogs, a 80lb Golden Retriever/Chow mix, a 90lb German Shepherd, and a 40lb Australian Shepherd.. Normally, the German shepherd knocks gates down but After reading some of the other reviews and owning this gate myself for the last 10 months, I found it odd that this gate had such a low rating. Normally, the German shepherd knocks gates down but for some reason this gate is tall enough that it a deterrent. Yeah, of course it's wobbly if you try to set it up as a straight gate without putting any bends in it, but if you put slight bends in it and the stabilizers are flush with the ground that will negate most of the wobbly issue. I took off one star because I feel like they could do with adding a center stablizer to take away that wiggle. At 28lbs it's easy enough to move from one area to the next depending on what needs to be sectioned off.. the swinging door mechanism still works fine for me and I go through it OFTEN. Cat has no issue jumping over. … more

Most Helpful Critical Review
Read All 8 Critical ReviewsNot put together well
By Hjmen on Jan 11, 2021
I own 2 & about to buy my 3rd one, is very nice looking & works well as a playpen for our puppy. My husband has had to redo the hardware where sections connect as they come apart & break easy. Only buying another one because it will extend our puppy pen

Broken after 5 months
By molly on Aug 23, 2020
Good looking gate, high enough to keep my flemish giant in his designated area of the house, but low enough that my cats can still jump over. We used the swinging door daily, several times per day, but that apparently is too much use. We have it rigged now so that we use one side as a swinging gate. Overall not worth the price for the number of months it's usable.

Very weak and wobbly
By JBrown on Jul 5, 2020
Got this to divide 2 rooms. Stretched straight and even made brackets to attach to the walls and it’s super weak and flimsy. The legs are not very supportive. Maybe more than 2 would be helpful and or a wider base at the bottom of the gate. Also, The door latch only hooks on the top therefore making the bottom part of the door very wobbly and the dogs may be able to break through.

Broken by 18 lb. puppy
By JoeP9 on Jun 30, 2020
It is a fine gate as long as your pup doesn't try to go through it. 11 week old Irish Setter quickly figured out that charging it would knock it over. As soon as she knocked it over, one of the hinges broke. Thus, if your pet will be afraid of this gate, it might work. But if they try to get through, they will. Also, VERY expensive for the quality of the gate.

I purchased this for my patio and it didn't last. On June 4th it went to the dumpster just 3 months after buying it.

Not worth $100
By Rachael on May 18, 2020
This is a decent gate but I would not pay $100 for it again. It is not sturdy when straightened out to the longest length and after just a few days the latch on the gate is not working properly. It works well for a smaller doorway that is not square but if you have big dogs with no gate etiquette it will be destroyed in no time.

Absolutely LOVE this gate!
By JacksMumma on May 4, 2020
First of all it comes assembled (even the gate part) so all I had to do was take it out of the box! It is perfect for my kitty who likes to play escape every time I open the door! The gate is really really nice quality wood and the little dog bones are so cute! I love that I can fold it up if need be that comes in handy if I am carrying something heavy or large into the apartment and don't want to deal with getting through the gate. It just simply folds and I can reposition it quickly and effortlessly! The wood color matches a lot of things in my home and it comes with little feet to hold it up if needed! It is also tall enough that it keeps my cat from wanting to jump over it. I can come and go and not worry about my beloved kitty escaping and getting lost or hurt! And it is pretty decent in price compared to the other options I had looked at! Definitely recommend this to anyone who has a dog or cat like mine who like to be right at the door when you come home so close that you have to do that shuffle walk to get yourself in but keep your pets in too. It's most helpful when I am bringing in groceries and need to keep opening the door every couple minutes. … more

Don't waste your money
By BearsMom on Apr 28, 2020
This gate is worthless. My 13 lb puppy used virtually no effort to push past this gate after 20 seconds of it being up. Even with the stabilizers attached at the bottom it's still rickety and on the verge of falling over.
