Smells awful and the dog runs away from it.

    By on

I previously bought what I thought was this gray Muzzle product in a small wafer chew, which my senior Staffy loved. This purchase happy joints maximum chews smell awful and he runs away as soon as he sees the bag. This is a big old dog that loves any food but not these supplements. I tried to hide it in something he loves but he spits it out. I would give this product ZERO and a wasted money as I purchased 2 big bags.

    Improvement in my dog’s health

    By on

My 10 year old large dog was having mobility problems. He has been on Old Dogs! Happy Joints! for a few months now and I notice a big improvement. They are stinky, but he eats them when I add them to his morning meal. He is not a picky eater which helps. They seem to have boosted his health enough that he is playing again. He will continue on these.

My eat everything pup will not eat these

    By on

My headline says it all. I have to hide them in wet food to get her to eat them and sometimes that doesn’t even work. I like the idea of them just need to be better tasting.

    bad smell like fish

    By on

My 9 year old Great Dane turned up his nose at these fishy smelling treats. I was hopeful to help find a glucosamine tablet to help with some back leg issues. Also my bag was hard as a rock nuggets, I thought they were supposed to be soft chews for elderly dogs. Pass on this brand.

    Mastiff treats

    By on

At first my dog thought it was great getting these treats, but he got sick of them really quick. I had to start putting peanut butter on them to encourage him to finish out the back.

    Happy Joints

I ordered these for my big boy Heaven, I didn't realize that there wouldn't be enough in the bag to start the twice a day protocol for the 4 weeks. So we ran out and I had to order more,so I'm kinda mad cause hoping this works and doesn't mess up the twice a day for 4 weeks.wondering if I'll have to start over by the time the order arrives. He doesn't like the smell so I do put a dab of peanut butter on each one to mask the smell for him.

She does NOT like these at all

    By on

I have a very picky 15 year old doberman. And I was hoping she would like these. But she won't get any where near these. They have a strong order of the vitamins and minerals. Can't put my finger on the smell but it is NOT very appealing at all. My husband even opened the bag to try and give her one and said they stink. Lol. A deep down sniff it smells meaty yummy but for us the vitamin smell is too overpowering and she just won't eat them at all. However I throw them out for the fox at night for a treat and they love them. Lol.
