I have a beagle/dachshund rescue that's anxious around new people and dogs. She was attacked twice by off leash dogs since I've had her. She's about 13 pounds and I give her one, I've given her a second 1-1.5 hours after the first because it was a stressful day and that really made her sleepy (she's normally pretty lazy and sleepy like a cat) so that didn't mean too much to me. This has been a good tool for helping her get used to situations with new dogs and people. It's not a miracle, obviously, but it makes her more adapt to listening to my commands to be quiet and it takes her down a few notches that's for sure. Tried this item for my kitty who is having separation anxiety at night when we go to bed. She does not like to be left alone and will meow loudly all night keeping us awake. Nor did it help when I took her to vet to be spayed. She left her mark on the vet, with two scratches on the vets cheek. Nope, I'd say this was a bust for us.

Our rescue shepherd/husky mix was displaying signs of seperation anxiety when we'd leave, including digging up the backyard (we have a doggie door). Crating him helped keep him from acting out, but he was still stressed in the crate. He weighs 40# and we give him 2 pills before we leave. Now we come home to a relaxed happy dog. This stuff has been great for us.

Product does work for short car rides. My dog doesn't throw up anymore during short / quick car rides. But she still gets sick during long car rides. I'm trying to find something that will work for her for moving from Texas to Tennessee. She did so good with car rides when we first got her but now she just can't stomach it. But the product it self does work.

got this due to my pet high anxiety when in his crate-- so far I think its too soon to tell but don't notice any changes for better or worse, have used it four times

My dog is approx. 80 lbs and doesnt like longer car rides. Hes fine around town, but once we hit the highway, he whines, trembles and pants like crazy...to the point where it’s not healthy for him. We have tried everything to calm him down. I gave him 2 pills for a 1-1/2 hour trip. The only way I could tell these were working is because he was much calmer (for his weight I could have given him 3). We could actually drive without him panting and whining. They did not make him dopey or drowsy otherwise, just calm enough for a car ride. He laid awake in the back seat, not sleeping, but calmer. Very happy with the results

We had a great trip, our dog was calm, almost asleep through the whole five hour trip. She is a 70 pound lab and we gave her two capsules, 40 minutes apart. She usually pants the entire trip, this was a pleasant trip. I want to try one capsule to see if that is all we need. I would recommend this. My vet suggested tranquilizers, i did not want to try that.

these still don't work, she slobbers all thru truck. I have tried pills from pet store Benadryl and now this, she just doesn't ride.

While this did calm my dog he still panicked once we got into the car. I follow the exact instructions for dosage. We gave it a few tries as well. But not something I would recommend or use again.

I bought this for our puppy for the trips to the race track. We used it this past weekend. She did get sick on the way there. Literally 5 minutes away. I gave her another dose while we were there and one about 30 minutes before we left. She didn't get sick on the way home. No excessive drooling either. Hopefully it continues to work.
