Works well
By Peanut on Dec 2, 2020
Can use both size in my little dog. Small one to get used to and large works on an other medium size dog that would work well on a large dog too. Larger side can work well inside to get as much area in 3 good swipes faster. They do get used to it and get a dental treat after which makes them more cooperative in time. They were not crazy about the tooth paste at first, but got used to it. They CANNOT use people toothpaste. I have used a very small amount of Arm and Hammer soda at times, but check with your VET first. I have brushed their teeth also without toothpaste to get them used to it. In time they will get used to the brushing and you can pick off any plaque with your finger nail Can use both size in my little dog. If they get frustrated with this process, start out short brushing followed by a small treat. This is just one more way to keep the health of your dog when everything counts to keep them as long as possible with you. … more

My pup refused
By Yoshismom on Oct 24, 2020
My boy literally eats anything and everything from any type of food to bugs and dryer lint. I never found a single thing he wouldn't touch until now. I even throw his pills directly into his dish and he eats them up without even having to hide them. When I offered him this toothpaste he simply just sniffed it and turned his head away. I put a tab on his toothbrush and had him try some that way and he seemed disgusted to say the least. So I decided to try just the tiniest dab to see exactly what the fuss was about because this just is not like him and I was absolutely disgusted myself. He has had several different brands and flavors of dog friendly toothpaste before with no issues. Not appealing smell to people!
By jsorley on Dec 1, 2020
I bought this dental kit because it came with both kinds of toothbrushes & I recognized the name Arm & Hammer. I like the set but the toothpaste does not smell good at all! It says its chicken flavor with fresh mint scent but I don't smell either one! Our dog doesn't seem to like the taste either!

Nasty taste
By Tuck on Oct 10, 2020
I have been working with my pup on brushing his teeth and making progress. I had finished what the Vet had giving me so I bought this Arm & Hammer product. Yes the price was the first thing I considered thinking they were all the same. Boy was I wrong. My pup definitely did not like the taste. Now he runs when he sees me coming with a toothbrush. Well at least I got a $7 toothbrush out of the kit.

Easy to use teeth cleaning kit
By Ariana on Oct 20, 2020
I like this kit because there are three ways to clean my dog's teeth: a silicone finger cap with bristles, a standard toothbrush with two sides- one larger and one smaller one for different sized dog. I have a Boxer mix who is 55lbs and I can easily fit and use all three of the options for her.

Great brushes
By DLynnLogan on Oct 17, 2020
I like the two types of brushes as each dog prefers a different style. However, they didn’t like the taste of the paste and now hide from me when I try to use it. They are very picky so I don’t fault the company, just have to find a paste they like.

Good stuff
By Simnala on Sep 23, 2020
My huskies loved it. Especially the paste. At first they were curious about it and then when I started brushing their teeth and they tasted the paste they seemed to get excited. Now, all I have to do is show them the brush and they know that it means time to brush their teeth and they sit still and let me do it.

I thought it would be hard to get my Plott Hound mix puppy to brush her teeth, but with this toothpaste and brush she considers it a reward!
