the brushes are nice, but the toothpaste sucks

By Gigi on Jun 22, 2021

it smells like human toothpaste with a HINT of tuna. My kitten hates it, when i presented it on the finger brush to her, she winced at the smell and ran away to hide. trying to brush her teeth was like trying to hold a toddler going thru a tantrum. afterwards, she'd drink water 2-3 times, assuming just to get rid of the taste. i suggest looking at a different brand. not worth getting scratched over lol

    Toothpaste flavor not good

By Cattymama on Apr 25, 2021

My cat did not like the smell or taste of this toothpaste. She was not at all enticed to the toothpaste. She spat it out. The toothpaste smells nothing like tune and I doubt cats would like mint and baking soda. They need to work better on getting a flavor that is good.

    Toothbrush is ok

By Danie on Mar 24, 2021

The plastic toothbrush is ok. The finger “brush” is too big for a cat’s mouth. The toothpaste is completely unappetizing to my cats, including a cat that will try and eat/lick anything. He found the tube of Erythromicn eye ointment more appealing than this toothpaste.

    Meh...........

By Midgie on Feb 8, 2021

I mainly bought this for the brushes and to try the toothpaste. I did read the reviews before buying. They were pretty spot on... She doesn't like getting her teeth brushed and she def didn't like this toothpaste. I bought a poultry flavored one and she's much better with that. Be warned, brushes are great but the paste it just meh... it makes her breath better but brushing more difficult for me n mine.

    Toothpaste Don't Recommend

By alley on Jan 19, 2021

I bought 2 of these for my 2 cats from Petsmart. I would not recommend this toothpaste, both of them did not like it. After using it one time on them, I went back to check on my cats. One of them vomited on the floor. I discontinued it immediately and threw it away. I kept the toothbrushes because those work great, but 100% do not recommend the paste.

We use the paste but not the brush

By kiki on Jan 11, 2021

My kitten will let me brush her teeth with my finger using this toothpaste super easily; she has no problem with it and I feel good knowing I'm helping her keep her mouth clean. However, we haven't been able to get her to use the brush, only the paste.

Don't Buy For The Toothpaste, Buy For The Brush

By Jennifer on Aug 22, 2020

One of my cats started foaming at the mouth when I touched the toothpaste to her mouth, so I threw it away. I have a toothpaste given to me by my Vet that I'm going to use instead. The brush is excellent quality and I mainly purchased the set for it and the finger brush. It will take a while to get your cat used to the brush, as I'm sure it will for mine.

    Awful toothpaste

By Tricky on Oct 10, 2020

I placed a bit of toothpaste on to tip of my finger to introduce it to my cat. He literally gagged at the smell. Awful. The toothbrush is useful by itself.
