For first time brushers, put a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and invite the dog to lick it off. Slowly progress to rubbing your finger along the gum line and teeth. Then, put a small amount of toothpaste on the toothbrush and repeat. Always make this a positive experience for your dog. For best results, brush daily.

For Fingerbrush: Place finger brush on pointer finger and loop around middle finger. Rub finger brush on teeth along the gum line from front to back. Repeat on opposite side. Hand wash, air dry. Can be paired with toothpaste.

Best Dog Toothbrush -EVER- For Small Dogs

By Rondale on Apr 8, 2021

This by far is the best toothbrush for small dogs. I use the toothpaste as well but I'd prefer the toothbrush to be sold separately just incase I need an extra one apart from the toothpaste. I guess I can't complain since the overall price isn't expensive.

    My puppy loves the taste

By Meli on Feb 7, 2021

I was hesitant to try because the adult human toothpaste is very strong, but my puppy seemed to love the taste, I only tried the finger towel to get him used to it and will try the mini-toothbrush after.

    Sparkling clean

By Mrsmoose on Mar 15, 2021

Owning a puppy you have to start young to brush there teeth, wish the handle was beefier. Maybe a little longer.

    Great Starter Kit

    By Magsmom on Dec 17, 2020 top250Contributor

I did just as the directions said and within 20 mins I was able to brush my girls teeth with no problem. I think it will take a little more time with my little boy, but he is so jealous of the girl getting attention, I figure it won't be long before he allows me to brush his too :)

My puppy loves the taste of toothpaste. I changed to different brand that is cheaper, but ended up coming back to Arm and Hammer toothpaste.
