Smells so nasty
So I tried using this for my 2 year old goldendoodle because she HATES getting her teeth brushed, but honestly I think she hates the flavor of this toothpaste even more. She actually seems to enjoy the mint kind I have instead of this one. Also can we talk about how NASTY this smells? It honestly just makes my dogs breath smell even worse. Not a big fan but maybe it’ll work for others..???
My doggo likes it
Been using this since my dog was a puppy. She really seems to enjoy the flavor, nice mint smell. My dog refuses to try other toothpastes so seems like we are going to stick with this one :)
Not a toothpaste fan
I believe my doggies would use it if it was peanut butter flavored. They love anything that is peanut butter.
Chewy is the best with the lowest prices and super fast delivery. It seems supply chain problems have not affected them at all.
Finally, my GSP will let me brush his teeth with the Arm & Hammer chicken and mint flavored toothpaste. It doesn’t have any odd odor, and it apparently is not bad tasting. It’s Gibby approved!
My dogs didn't like it.
I can't honestly speak for how well this works to freshen breath or clean the teeth - neither of my dogs liked this paste and wouldn't let me get near them after the first taste. As most of you know if a dog doesn't want their teeth brushed it probably won't happen. I'll stick with the slightly pricier paste I know they love.
Nope! Didn’t like!
I have 2 little dogs and just letting them smell it to taste it, they wouldn’t taste it. One shook his head violently as he walked away from it. They liked the other 2 brands I bought. I’ll be tossing this one in the garbage. Maybe they don’t like baking soda?
My dog LOVES Arm and Hammer toothpaste for dogs!!
My dog, Daisy, absolutely LOVES Arm and Hammer toothpaste!! I love the websites different flavors and products. I had bought the beef flavored tartar control toothpaste to test it out on my dog's teeth to see how the toothpaste worked and she LOVED the flavor! After brushing her teeth she would lick the toothpaste off of the brush. I decided to give the Chicken Flavor a try because she had some minor bad breath. She also loves the chicken flavor and her bad breath has gone away. I combine the fresh breath with the tartar control and some fresh breath drops in her water and her teeth are whiter than ever(as seen in pictures below).
Pups love it
My pups love the flavor and lick it right up. Now I just have to get them to chew more in the device it goes with.
My dog didn't want it.
I was very surprised that my dog "turned his nose up" at the Arm & Hammer toothpaste. I've used three other brands in the past and he has loved the flavor of them all. It's hard enough to get his teeth brushed, but impossible with a product he doesn't like.
