My usual brand of litter was discontinued so I've been experimenting with other litters. I have 4 cats and 5 litter boxes and I change 1 catbox at a time to a different brand. When I filled a box with Absorbx, my cats quit using the other boxes and all of them started using the Absorbx box. When I filled a box with Absorbx, my cats quit using the other boxes and all of them started using the Absorbx box. I have not had any of the usual catbox smell with it, even with 4 cats. I use sifting cat boxes and it clumps nicely and the clumps stay together nicely while sifting. I don't have any nose or throat irritation because there isn't any dust. I love this litter but even more importantly, my cats love it! I would have given it 5 stars but it does track out of the box which is annoying. But I will continue to buy it for all of the other great qualities. … more

This is THE dustiest litter ever. I literally gagged when I realized how much litter dust is being tracked all over my home once they exit the crap shack. I literally gagged when I realized how much litter dust is being tracked all over my home once they exit the crap shack. If this litter was trying to show you how filthy cats really are, they nailed it. This litter has made me even more neurotic than covid-19 did in regards to constant cleaning and sterilization. I’ll probably re-home them now after seeing how much filth they track out of the cat box once they’re done emptying themselves. ( insert barf emoji) The thing that made me realize how much filth and obviously bacteria, germs, and whatever else comes from a litter box is that I have hunter green jersey knit duvet with jersey knit sheets of a different color. After seeing litter dust paw prints all over the bedding. And I’m not just talking like 3 or 4 steps. I’m talking about they had to leave the bathroom, run across an outdoor carpet that I laid out with the intent to sorta “wipe” their paws. NOPE. The dust still sticks to their paws leaving dirty little kitty sprinkles all over. For reference, each cat box is cleaned 2 times a day. The only reason this gets two stars, is because it does mask the stench of their bowels and urine without adding baking soda and is easy to scoop out. Other litters barely do that. … more

Inferior to what it replaced
By Inferior on Feb 24, 2021
I’m not sure why they decided to replace their Lightweight Clump n Seal with Absorbx. Absorbx is not dust free in the least unlike what it replaced. I’m guessing that Absorbx is cheaper to make. If it’s not broke don’t fix it.

Too dusty and leaves dust tracks
By Teri on Feb 23, 2021
Love the fact that it is lightweight and does clump very well and covers odors but waaay too dusty. Leaves my kittys dust prints on my couch and furniture. I am disappointed. You claim to be dust free. Not so . This is the dustiest catlitter I have ever used.

so dusty. can’t believe it
By Chris on Feb 22, 2021
My poor cat is covered in dust whenever he uses the box. He’s been upset lately and I think this new litter has something to do with it. I can’t believe how bad it is! Get the regular clump and seal by arm and hammer. Not this trash

This Litter is Horrible
By NotAFan on Feb 21, 2021
I bought this when they discontinued their light-weight litter. It is horrible. My cat has long hair and what I call feet fur. Fur grows between her toes and pads. This gets tracked all over, on my dark couch, bed comforter, cat trees and dark hardwood floors. Not just dust, but the larger clay pieces. She doesn't even like it. Please bring back the other litter, please. I have to vacuum every day. I do not recommend Absorbx and will not buy it again.

Kitty Tracking
By Kezzy on Feb 21, 2021
I thought this sounded great. However sounding great isn't the problem. However this is made, way too much coming out of the litter box and onto my litter mat, then on the bathroom floor and from there, still on kitty's paws and tracking right into my family room. You can actually see her little paw prints. No, no recommendations on this one. Sorry. Arm & Hammer needs to go back to the drawing board.

By Great on Feb 20, 2021
The litter is great I never smell anything when the cats use it. It does get tracked around a little but not hard to clean up.

Incredibly dusty and tracks EVERYWHERE
By Jen13 on Feb 20, 2021
I really wanted to love this cat litter. I liked that it was light weight however it is horrible. It is the dustiest litter that I have ever seen in it tracks everywhere. I could see the cats footprints on my rugs, on my bed sheets, everywhere.

bad litter
By Haley on Feb 19, 2021
I didn’t buy this litter from chewy but I did purchase it to try it and I hated this litter dusty didn’t cover odor and I noticed when cleaning the litter box where my cats would pee the litter would clump but stay wet and never got hard for me to be able to scoop so it would crumble and stick to my litter box and when it would crumble the scoop can’t scoop it all so I felt my cats had a dirty litter box with reminets of urine all around don’t recommend unless your in a pinch for litter and it’s all they had

Please Bring Back Arm and Hammer Lightweight Clump and Seal!
By CatOwner on Feb 19, 2021
We only tried AbsorbX because our favorite A & H litter was being discontinued. There are now granular, dust-like particles of AbsorbX all over the wood floors, furniture, and rugs, and it is an impossible task to clean it all. It gets in and on everything because it is stuck to our cat's paws. He is a black cat, and it looks like he has a permanent case of dandruff now. There is also a cloud of dust whenever we add new litter to his litter box. PLEASE BRING BACK THE LIGHTWEIGHT CLUMP AND SEAL! It was a great product, did what it was supposed to do, and was the most dust-free cat litter I have ever used in the 47+ years we have had a cat.
