Arm & Hammer Litter Clump & Seal Fresh Scented Clumping Clay Cat Litter

I have used Arm and Hammer before. Different types in this type. I do not count the Slide kind. But, I can smell my cat urine so much now. I did not have this issue when it first came out. Both boxes I bought are not the best. I’m going back to my old litter. Clumps good, just does not take care of the smell. Little to no dust.

i am usually a big fan of Arm & Hammer but not this time. my regular A&H was out of stock so i ordered this as a replacement. what a mistake! my whole house stunk the minute i came home. it did nothing to absorb the smell & i only have 2 cats. i disliked it so much i gave it away & then that person told me how much they disliked it. same complaint. didn’t do anything to absorb the smell. never again.

Trying to find a better clumping litter so I thought we’d give this a try! It clumped so much better than the other litters they make. It didn’t break apart when scooping, it stayed without any odor and my cats preferred that box over the other. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the price is a bit high especially with it being the 28pd package selling for $20.99 now. When I bought it a couple weeks ago it was only $16.99. They raised it $4. We liked it but we’ll probably stay with the other type they make that you can get in a 40pd package. It’s a pretty good litter also that holds together pretty well for $15.26. With having multiple rescue cats I need the larger amounts. Trying to find a better clumping litter so I thought we’d give this a try! It clumped so much better than the other litters they make. I purchased this one because my usual one was out of stock! The next day I woke up to a home that looked like it had been dusted for paw prints! I have litter all over my house and furniture! To top it off some of the dust got into my cat’s eyes and caused an irritation! This has been a headache of purchase!

My main priority when choosing a kitty litter is that it’s low on the dust. Our old litter would trigger my respiratory allergies something fierce. I used to have to wear a mask to clean the boxes, it was so bad. But this litter is a total game changer. I’ve had zero problems and I haven’t even SEEN any dust from it. It does have a light scent as advertised, but if you’re cleaning the box daily you shouldn’t have to worry about odor too much anyways. Unless you have really stinky cats. My cats seem to like it too, but they’re not too picky. This is my go to litter from now on.

This litter works well in terms of odor control and clumping. However, my cat developed asthma and began wheezing every day after we began using it. The wheezing episodes look like a cat is trying to cough up a hairball. Since we stopped using it, he no longer has wheezing episodes. I concluded it had to be the cat litter because we hadn't changed anything for the cat other than the litter. After researching litters and discussing this with our veterinarian, we made the decision to stop using it.

I bought this version and the other one. I was hoping to reap the benefits of zero dust and great clumping without the overwhelming scent that permeates my bathroom.

I am very sorry to hear you no longer will offer A&H litter on autoship. I have purchased the two alternatives you offered but do not care for either. I don’t know why A&H was discontinued so I hope it returns in the future. Thank you.

We switched to this about a year ago because the dust from the previous litter triggered allergies. This is the only litter we will use now. It limits the smells from the litter area and I’m also noticing that I’m not having to dust the shelf near the litter box as frequently since we switched.
