Every scoop of Arm & Hammer Cat Litter combines odor-absorbing clay and Arm & Hammer Baking Soda to lock in odor so your house won’t smell like a litter box. These 99% dust-free, low-tracking formulas are made to stay in the box and clump up hard to make scooping an absolute breeze. Available in scented or unscented and single or multi-cat formulas so you can find the purr-fect litter for your needs.
Litter Box Maintenance
For an odor-free home and happy kitties, follow these tips for good litter box management:
1. Fill with Arm & Hammer Cat Litter to a depth of 3-4 inches. This gives cats enough room to dig and makes scooping easier.
2. Scoop daily, making sure you get all the clumps and solid waste.
3. Refill the box to a nice 3-4 inch depth. Your feline and your elbows will thank you!
4. Throw away the used litter in the trash only. It protects waterways and your plumbing.
A Trifecta of Odor Control
Arm & Hammer Litter controls odor in three ways:
ODOR ELIMINATORS + BAKING SODA: Odor eliminators + Arm & Hammer Baking soda neutralize odors so they can’t waft through the house.
HARD CLUMPS: Litter forms rock-hard clumps that lock in odor and won’t crumble, so you can get all the waste out when you scoop.
MOISTURE LOCK: Super-absorbent clay granules lock in moisture, so urine odors can’t escape.

Scented or Unscented?
Whether you and your feline friend prefer a pleasant scent or fragrance-free odor control, Arm & Hammer has a formula for you. Choose between 5 odor-locking formulas and give your kitty the freshness he deserves!

Perfect for a pair of kittens
By Betsy on Jan 11, 2021
I have always had two cats. Forever! I try to find a brother and sister team to be my buddies. So I have used Arm and Hammer litter for as long as I have had cats. My son, who is sensitive to odors, always checks when he comes to visit and he can not smell any evidence of my cats. The litter clings and cleaning is easy. I will use Arm and Hammer forever. Plus the 26 lb size is perfect for 3 litter pans and easy to carry.

Very Disappointed with misleading MULTICAT & EXTRA STRENGTH claim!
By Disappointed on Jan 6, 2021
After waiting months for “temporarily unavailable” A&H litter that I used for a long time to become available, I was told it was no longer being manufactured. I tried this litter hoping it would be as good as the discontinued litter. Sadly disappointed! Doesn’t do the job! I use it for just one cat. Can’t imagine how often someone with multi cats would need to change the litter to keep odor down, probably 2-3 times a week!

Best litter
By ProfP on Jan 7, 2021
I have used other litters that have gone on sale, and I always come back to this one. The clumps do not fall apart, it does an excellent job of eliminating smell, and there is no perfume smell (this is the unscented). After my last go-round with a sale litter, I have since vowed to remain with Arm and Hammer unscented. I hope they never stop making it.

Pretty Good
By catzmeeeow on Jan 4, 2021
This is pretty good litter. The multi-cat seems to clump much better than the Scoop one which kind of turns to mud in the box. I strongly prefer an unscented litter and this is fairly low dust too. The value was pretty good and it arrived quickly & safely from Chewy.

Too heavy for me
By Denise on Jan 11, 2021
This works well, but I just wish that it came in a light-weight version. I'm older & it's difficult for me to handle the regular weighted litters. The Clump & Seal lightweight worked great, but some dodo decided to discontinue it.

Unscented stinks
By unscented on Dec 12, 2020
A got my boxes of cat litter (Arm and Hammer UNSCENTED), and despite the box saying unscented there was that sickly scented smell that permeates the house. My allergies cant stand it, neither can the cats. Manufacturers packaging mistake? Im going back to buying at the pet store. Ugh, its awful.

Good Stuff

I have used a variety of Arm and Hammer products through the years and they reflect value, consistency, and trustworthiness. This particular product is no different.

dusty litter
By caljane on Jan 4, 2021
I am not sure what the big hype is for this product. It does the job like all my other clumping cat litters, odor is okay, but it sure is dustier than, for example, fresh step or tidy cats.

Not so great
By Laura on Oct 10, 2020
I've been trying different clumping litters for smell, clumping quality and dust. I used an entire 16 lb box of this litter in a jumbo box for my two 4 mo old kittens .... and 3 days later it smells awful and is becoming a muddy mess. I've been scooping at least once a day and the urine is not clumping. The entire room stinks. I'd also tried the lightweight Arm & Hammer clumping and it clumped a little better, but tracked litter and dust EVERYWHERE. More than any litter I've ever had. The best I've tried so far is the EverClear clumping. It seems heavier than other litters, but it clumps so well that urine becomes baseball sized clumps sometimes, AND it has the best odor control.

Too Dusty!!
By Gina on Dec 9, 2020
I really wanted to like this litter as I have used arm & hammer for quite some time. This one was lighter weight and a finer texture that my kittens loved. However, the dust is unbearable. I ended up taking it back.
