How long does 1 bag last? Is it enough to fill a cat litter box at least 1 time?
Answer by FelineFanOct 08, 2021
It is enough to fill a litter box to 3 inches the first time and have enough left to add more to the litter box several times afterwards. I have three litter boxes for five cats and the bundle of 3 (one bag at each box) will last each litter box cleaned daily about 3 1/2 weeks.

Does it come in bigger bags
Answer by ChewyMar 01, 2018
At this time this product is only available in a 9 pound bag.

Is this litter biodegradable?
Answer by ChewyJun 13, 2019
This litter is not biodegradable.

is thislitter flushable
Answer by ChewySep 17, 2018
The manufacturer recommends disposing of the used litter in the trash. Do not flush litter in the toilet or place it in the drain.

Don't waste your money

I thought I would try a new litter. I settled on this one. At first it has a nice pine scent that isn't so bad, but that goes away in a day. 1 bag is enough to fill up an xl litter box. Even scooping twice a day it very quickly starts to smell like urine. It doesn't clump very well and you are left with tiny chunks that are hard to scoop out. I had to buy litter deodorant to offset the smell. I dont recommend this product and will be returning to my favorite Okocat super soft.

I absolutely love it! You do have to be gentle when you shake the scooper so the clumps don't break apart. But the benefits are amazing. It's dust free, and the natural smell of corn cobs smells good. People tell me all the time they have never smelled even a hint of a cat box in my house.

Best scoopable litter

I normally don’t like scoopable litter as it leaves little used pieces that fall out of the scooper back into the box and stinks it up even faster. This one is so lightweight and the fresh scent lasts the whole time it’s in use. I have 10 cats and use this in 3 of my litter boxes. Kitties like it as it’s soft on their paws and clean up is easy. No nasty clumps that stay in the box. I dip daily and refill as it gets low and change it out completely every 2-3 weeks.

Great smelling litter

I like to mix this litter with my clay litter. I have used it by itself. It does clump, but they will fall apart if you shake the scooper. I mux with dr elsey to keep it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. And it is an added deodorizer for the cat box.

LOVE this stuff

I have not had cats since the 1990's when there was only clay litter. When I decided to adopt 2 kittens, I started researching what seemed like hundreds of litter and ended up picking this product just because of Arm & Hammer Brand recognition. What a GREAT choice, if I do say so myself. I am amazed at how well this stuff hides the small of both pee and poo! It's easy to sift out the pee, as well, since it turns the litter into a little lump to scoop out. It does stick to the little feet of the kittens and will spread outside the box when they leave, but I think this is just an unavoidable nuisance of any/all litter. I'll keep using it.

Smells Great - Dust free

This litter really is dust-free and the lemony scent is strong enough to last a while. It’s also light weight. For those homes with multiple cats three bonuses. Price is okay for now. High increase would be only reason for me to change again.

Perfume Litter

This litter is VERY fragrant. The smell is so strong the cat would not use it until two weeks later when the perfume smell was gone. On the plus side my house smelled great for two weeks.

Top 1000 Contibutor

Grwat option compared to Clay cat litter!

I switched to this when trying to find a better cat litter for my cats. This stuff works great! I did have to find something a little cheaper with multiple cats, but this does keep the cat smell down, it clumps easily for clean up, and doesn’t have the chalking smell clay cat litters have.

Good for control of dust and odor.

I like this litter because it controls odor and smells good when clean. Generates very little dust. Lightweight and easy to pour from bag. The main negative is it doesn't clump as tightly as clay. I've learned to scoop gently when cleaning so as not to break up the clumps. (Also think this is better for environment.)

Has its good points…

My cat seems to like this litter, and I do, too…but I don’t love it. I’ll start with the good, and say that kitty seems to like the softer texture. I like the texture, as well, and it doesn’t hurt if I step on it, a good thing since I prefer being barefoot in the house. I also don’t step on it often, as long as I’m not walking directly on the mat underneath his box. It doesn’t track much at all, which I absolutely love since I have carpet, ceramic tile, and hardwood floors in various areas. I like the fragrance - it’s nice and provides some odor coverage, but isn’t overwhelming for me or my cat. Please note I said coverage, not control. I have a single cat and scoop daily, but where most litters allow me a couple weeks before the stink starts (even unscented ones), this one gives me a week, so I add a deodorizer. The other issue for me is clumping. While it clumps, I don’t shake the scoop too hard, or it crumbles. Overall, it’s nice enough to buy again, but not a must-have.
