Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

To transition you cat to use Arm & Hammer Litter: * Fill a clean litter box ¾ full of Arm & Hammer Litter. Next, pour one to two inches of your old litter brand on top. Don't mix! Your cat will do this naturally as she uses her litter. * Allow your cat to use the mixed litter until the next time you change the box. * Your cat should be acclimated to Arm & Hammer after just one use, but some cats can need a little more time.

I was getting fed up with all the dust and smell from the other litter I was using, so thought I'd give this one a try. Definitely not disappointed. It really does slide right out, and is dust free. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but I think I'll bite the bullet and pay the extra cost for this litter because I like it so much.
I absolutely love this cat litter. We usually have 2-3 cats at any one time. We have 3 litter boxes. I find this litter clumps better and has better odor control than the yellow boxes of Arm and Hammer litter. The fragrance is very mild so it doesn't bother my husband who is sensitive to aromas. Thank you Chewy for carrying a quality product.
I was sick of cat litter that turned to concrete when trying to scoop out urine. My last litter was destroying my litter box because it required such heavy, rough scraping to get it all out every time. I switched to this and now it's made litterbox cleaning a LOT faster and cleaner! The texture is a lot finer than the last litter we used (Fresh Step), but my cats don't seem to be phased by it. Also--it seems to track less. Another bonus. I prefer this litter so much I finally pulled the trigger on a subscription so it's delivered regularly.
This is still a bentonite clay based litter. I am a ceramicist and know a thing or two about clay. No clay based material can be made dust silica free. Just saying. Having said that, I accept the risk and keep my exposure to a minimum. Been using clay based litters for decades and it has not seemed to negatively impact my cats health. So with all the apparently different clay litters, varying wildly with prices depending on the fancy characteristics: slide, clump seal, odor free for 10 days! jargon, I go off what I see and smell. My cats take issue with this litter. I see why. It had far less odor control than Tidy Cats unscented. I clean the box for two young indoor females 2 x a day. It still stinks. I used AH litter odor powder and it still smells bad. Do not be fooled. It still tracks. The particles are smaller and less visible but it sticks and tracks as much as the other stuff. I have always mixed in Dr. Elsey kitten attract litter. It helps with the smell somewhat and it is good stuff but expensive. Slide is hype. If you are getting a muddy mess in the bottom of the litter box, you either: -are not scooping out the box frequently enough -have a cat with a urinary tract or kidney problem or you need more litter boxes scattered around the house to prevent overcrowding with multiple cats. For me, the cost benefit vastly outweighs any advantages hyped up by this litter. I will not buy it again.
I found Slide a while back and loved it. I lost my last cat in August. A friend asked me to cat sit for him and I'm getting used to a cat in the house again. I found this new stuff and tried it. I'm back for more. Light scented: smells good but not sinus clogging. Haven't found any in my bed, so it must be low tracking. He's a long-haired cat and I don't have to comb litter from his fur. All around a great find. OBTW, no litterbox smell either. Scoop once a day. nice hard clumps, even the pee. No more scraping the box, just pour it out, wipe the box and refill. I'll stick with the litter that doesn't stick to the box.
I've been buying A&H litter for decades and this is by far the worst I've ever seen. I don't know how A&H can put 100% or 99% dust free on this product. I don't know if they've changed their formula but I'm going to have to try and find something that is truly dust free.
For years I have been using clay litter that was recommended by my veterinarian. I have 4 cats and clean our boxes twice a day. It has become very time consuming scraping and chizeling out large clumps of sticky wet letter. When I asked Chewy for a recommendation they suggested several brands. I decided on the Arm &Hammer Slide. I can't express enough how wonderful this product is. It has cut my cleaning time down to seconds a box! No dust going in or coming out. No sticking to the box! It is a bit more money than my c!ay litter, but time is money, and this is definitely worth every extra penny! I usually buy unscented but my cats don't seem to mind the light fragrance it has.
I think this is the best ever litter, absolutely no order for days with 4 cats, yes, they do track some but there's no dust and for me with COPD that is important and the fact that it doesn't stick to the pan makes cleaning so much easier. The little higher price is worth it to me for all the features.
I used this in my Leo’s loo too automatic litter box hoping it would help with some of the gunk that gets stuck to the side. If anything it was twice as bad and to boot my cats kicked it absolutely everywhere and it even is tracking all the way into my bed. My boy kitty must sniff the litter because he’s perpetually sneezing litter out of his nose which seems bad so after a week I dumped both boxes and went back to our old litter.
Ever since I switched to Clump and seal cannot smell any litter box odors. I never would leave a litter box unscooped for 7 days however I know that when I was in the hospital my family was not too good on scooping everyday yet when I came home you could not smell anything. The type I'm not particular with they have slide they have multi they have antibacterial they all work great make sure you always look for a sale chewy has great sales on the different types of Clump and seal for the different weight of the boxes
