We had a 72" inch tree that our 13 pound cat used, a lot, and after a year and a half, we decided to get him a new one. This one looks great, but it is very wobbly. It's much better now that we bolted it to the floor, but it still wobbles a bit. It needs a larger, heavier base. And- it IS all tightened correctly, also, so that isn't the reason why it's wobbly.
Recommend, wish it was sturdier

I have 2 cats— 9 lb and 11lb. 9 lb cat loves how tall it is. The 11lb never liked going up high on the old one, and this one has a lot of great platforms at just the right height for her to look out the window.
Wish it were a little sturdier. I have some weights on the bottom only because my kitties love to run and jump. But I recommend.
My cats love it!

This cat tree is tall! I've ordered ones before that are smaller than expected, so it was a nice surprise to assemble this one and have it tower over me. Easy to put together, and our cat immediately took to it.
Our cat's a massive 13-pound beast, and she fits well on it. We did have to reinforce the step below the cave with a bunch of superglue (there was probably a more effective way, but I was lazy!) to keep it from spinning/rocking, but that's her main leaping step, so she's pretty hard on it. The tree could be a bit sturdier - it moves a bit whens she's tearing up and down it - but it hasn't fallen, and that could easily be remedied by bracketing it to the wall. It's helped her behavior too; she can be quite uncomfortable around guests, so being able to be up high keeps her calm.
Since getting the tree, we adopted a rather small kitten. The tree's a bit big for her at the moment, but I'm sure she'll grown in to it.
We've had it for about four months, and it's not showing much wear at all. A staple did work it's way to the surface, but we caught and removed it before our kitties stepped on it. I recommend keeping an eye out for rogue staples!
Planning on buying a second one as soon as the kitten's big enough to use it fully! Honestly, it's one of the best purchases we've made for our older cat.… more
Cat Tree Review
on Jul 17, 2019
This tree is not covered with carpeting as had been the case with all the other cat trees I've purchased. Instead, it is covered with extremely thin cloth, nothing a cat can get's is claws into in order to climb nor does it provide a comfortable surface to rest upon. Otherwise, the sisal is done well, tree was easy to assemble, and reasonably well balanced for such a tall tree. But, the two top ledges are really too small for an adult cat. Recovering it with a padded fabric is called for.

I like this tree mostly because we have older cats that love to climb, the platforms are very wide, and several of them so they may climb or decent with ease. It’s on the larger side so make sure you have the space. It’s not as solid as id like it to be that’s why I’m giving this 4 stars.
Cats love it

This was easy to put together and is easy to clean. Is very sturdy. Doesn't have a nasty smell to it. The cats are on it every day and love sitting on the top perches.
Perfect short term tree

Easy to put together and perfect for the short term. Not sturdy enough to be used for a permanent cat tree as it is not made from the most sturdy material. My cat is petite and she can make the whole tree move a little when she jumps around on it. She makes excellent use of the legs as they all have excellent scratching board type material. I love the height of the tree, the platforms and the nice soft carpet like covering. Very pleased with it.
Looks nice but flimsy

My cat who is 18+ lbs broke the board on the bottom just jumping to the top.
Great cat tree!

Nice height & good sized perches. Best of all, the base is large enough to accommodate a litter box for efficient use of space! Wish more cat trees were set up that way.
Fun yet the structure has a small fault

My 6 cats love this- a week ago after seven months of use the second to the highest perch broke.Corner My 10 pound cat leapt onto the perch and the corner broke. Snapped post and all hanging by the carpeting. Luckily I was there to catch him before he got hurt. Up until then a dect tree- my cats are hard on the twine though. The carpeting is a little thin.
