cute but no cigar

actually the cats like the flat scratching bed, but for the roller feature and the $$ it left its owner scratching my head. The roller - which was the big draw on this item - was EXTREMELY stiff..only rotated 1/2 turn then got stuck. I rolled it back the 1/2 turn and it got stuck again. Unfortunately, the main feature does not work well. Maybe it just has to loosen up, but I dont see that happening if the cats cannot turn it. I barely could.
