My dog just gives this toy side eye and won't engage. She likes squeaky toys and such so we thought she might be into it. It's also very hard and I'm not convinced it would be easy for her to grab. We humans enjoy playing with it more than her, but you can't really do anything with it other than roll it with your hands It's too hard to kick or throw.
thru a mix up I purchased this ball then got one as a gift. The first ball was shiny and slippery so my dog can only grab it by using the indents. Noise is ok but not very easy to make, (I have to shake the ball just right). Dog loves batting it around. Second ball made lots of noise, more like what I expected. Problem is the ball material was softer and easy to grip, so my dog destroyed it in a matter of minutes. Now I understand the mixed reviews, what you get is just luck.
I knew this would be a hit for our golden retriever. She loves to kick, smack, and roll any type of ball around the house. She was very confused by the noises at first, but now we randomly hear her rolling it around. The odd sounds seem to keep her engaged. She’s not a huge chewer, but she loves to pick it up and drop it.
Our 10yr old (human yrs) Blue nose/Gotti blood line Pitbull has no signs of slowing down his game w/this unique Giggle Wiggle Ball full of countless monitored play time. Approx lifetime use is 1 month. Best bang for 1's buck for a versatile use toy. After my pittie kills it/cracks it open he knows, "Humpty Dumpty," gets another refurbished purpose. Giggle Wiggle Ball's gutts (inner plastic rods) that make the silly sound get transferred into the inner core of favorite stuffed dog toys to revive countless hours of fun until they're temp removed for a toy bath. It's a process to refurbish sowing by hand but well worth reviving furbabies fav stuffies w/Giggle Wiggle Ball's gutts when they've been cracked open.
The dogs and I would recommend this ball. The picture shows a Golden retriever next to a large ball- for a large dog. Unfortunately my Black Lab he is unable to get his mouth around it to pick it up; this was disappointing for both of us I would recommend to order a smaller ball to play fetch with your dog
This is a brilliant idea for a dog toy cuz its easy for my girl to engage with..She loves sounds and sqeekers but it would be even better if it lit up as well..It took my girl abit to figure out how to pick it up cuz the ball is alot larger in person than in the pic. It's also great cuz my girl is a super chewer and this ball can endure chewing and it seems as though it will last a long, long time well worth the price which I would highly recommend this toy for all your fur babies!
This is a well made, interactive play toy. Makes the coolest sounds as it rolls or bumps into things. The sounds really get the curiosity of my 8 month old Pit mix. We kick it around like a soccer ball and he tries to goal it and run off. The ball is a challenge for smaller jaws to pick up, but with a little practice, Rumi figured it out. Because he can’t crush it in his jaw and because it’s pretty hardy, it’s survived destruction. I recommend it, especially for play with humans. Indoors or outside.
I agree with other purchasers, it does seem a bit smaller and a lot softer than ball of the past. However, my boy loves it, though they never last past a few extended hours, I will still repurchase as he gets so much joy from them. For reference he is a 160 pd rottweiler, who is a veracious chewer. The short life span is why I only rated a 3,,(and the cost of my wallet) but in the terms of his love for them,,, a 20 star review. Nothing else does it for him like these balls do.
I have a husky mix. He is 83lbs and destroyed this ball within 10 minutes of getting it. I would suggest making a bigger ball, please. Or making it with softer tennis ball like material? If he couldn't fit his mouth over it, he would not have been able to crush it with his mouth. Even though it's not round anymore, he carries it with him everywhere, and still plays with it. He absolutely loves it. It currently still makes some of the noises.
Bought this ball and my dog loves it! She barks, bites, and nudges it along to make noise. Only downfall is that its not suitable to throw as i found out. The voice sticks came out of the holes and now rattle inside the toy. The sticks still make noise and my dog still loves it just the rattling of the sticks inside make it seem junky. I wish the toy was designed to withstand some abuse since its my dogs favorite toy and she loves playing fetch on the lawn with it. Id say needs improvement!
