NOT "As Seen on TV"!
We bought one of these for our new Corgi back in Dec 2021, and she wants to play with it 24/7. But the manufacturer has cheapened the design to eliminate at least one of the holes (squawkers), and it doesn't make the same noise anymore. We bought this for my daughter, but I won't give her an inferior model. We used to recommend this item to everyone we knew with a dog ... not anymore. Terribly disappointed!
Broken and
I only had this ball since Dec and it has a big crack in it, We only roll this ball and I guess it not made for rolling outdoors. I would like to get in touch with the manufacturer of this product to see if it can be replaced, it only Jan and the ball was bought in Dec for ampuppy.
We Have a Winner
After trying several types of herding balls, I got this one for my six year old girl Bindi for her birthday. It was an instant hit. She actually started herding it and playing. She loves the oddball noises this toy makes. I'd upload a video of her playing with it if that were an option here! Highly recommend this toy.
Nope-! Sissy dog
Sadly my ball loving pup was terrified of this toy. I had to get it out of sight. We saw her BFF that evening, offered her the ball to take home. Within 15 minutes, received a video of her BFF rolling ball around, enjoying herself, with her brother watching her. You never know!
terrified my golden
Maybe this works for some pups, but not all. My golden is absolutely terrified of it. I was surprised that the sound isn’t constant when it moves. It just randomly makes a sound here and there. This could be a good thing if your pup plays with it inside so it wouldn’t completely drive you crazy. At least I got some super sweet snuggles out of comforting him, but I’ll definitely have to return it
Not Recommend
This ball is way too big and too loud for small dogs. I have 2 mini-doxies. They and I are somewhat terrified of it; the sounds it makes sound like a bird or rabbit in distress. It's also way too big for dogs in the mini to small range. My dogs bark and bark or cry/whine at it and don't even want to touch it. I would like to return it and get a refund/credit on my order please.
Great toy for labs
I bought one of these for my 3 year old labs. They ran for 30 minutes in our yard until I took it away to let them rest. Some tension started to rise over it, so I just got another one! They love it and it wears them out!
She loves it!
this is fun and sturdy toy. Lucy loves chasing it around, so it's perfect for rainy/snowy days when we don't want to play outside. The sounds it makes are delightful, not annoying. We play soccer together
BEST. TOY. EVER.
I thought this would be another fun, interesting dog toy for Sandal. I was wrong. Our dog is completely OBSESSED with this toy. The (hilarious) sounds from this toy send him into a frenzy. He barks, nips at, and chases (herding?) this toy with tremendous continuous energy. After about 15 minutes he's worn out and going for a nap. We keep this toy along with his others in a toy closet when we aren't playing with him. We roll the toy around some but he goes after it for the most part. For reference, he's a 9 year old Norwegian Elkhound, Cattle dog mix. Very high energy, lots of walks and playtime. This is the first toy he's had that wears him out, definitely seems to let him work out those herding instincts.
Puppy loves it!
My 7 month old Pitt loves this ball! Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the noise it makes is super inconsistent and I think that's part of what keeps my dog interested for a long length of time
