    It works well

    By on Top 500 Contributor

We have one small dog that will raid the trash whenever we leave the house. When the weather is fine -- great, she'll stay outside. But when it's miserable out there, we leave her in the house and tie her to this cable. Other end of the cable goes around the foot of a heavy piece of furniture. The cable is smooth, it does not hurt the furniture. And it keeps the dog out of trouble.

My 35 pound dog broke the clip after three weeks. It’s been used less than a dozen times.

    Broken Connector

    By on

I bought this for a 24 pound dog. The description said it would withstand 7x the dog's weight? It lasted three months before one good tug broke the cable loop at the end.

    Too thin...

    By on

We haven't used it yet, we got it for camping coming up next week and the box says it holds 50 lbs but its so thin and cheap feeling that I'm kind of hesitant. My dog doesn't ever pull or try to get away so for us I think it'll be fine but for other dogs that like to pull hard or chase...you might want to get a stronger one.
