Most prescriptions are delivered within 3-5 days.Atopica is an oral solution prescribed to dogs who suffer from allergic dermatitis—a skin reaction caused by contact with an allergen. This is very common in canines with allergies, and can cause their skin to become uncomfortably itchy, red and scaly. Atopica targets the root of the problem to help relieve itching, so your companion no longer feels the need to incessantly scratch, rub or lick. Atopica can help provide your dog the relief she needs.

Cyclosporine.
Give Atopica as directed by your veterinarian, as your dog's dose may be reduced after weeks of treatment. It's to be fed without food, preferably 1-2 hours before meals. Don't open the capsule to sprinkle over food; there will be a bitter taste unappealing to your dog. Keep capsules in the blister pack until you are ready to use them. If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. Do not double dose.
Atopica should be stored and dispensed in the original unit-dose container at controlled room temperature between 59° - 77°F.
Atopica is an FDA approved capsule that is often prescribed by veterinarians in order to treat atopic dermatitis (allergies) and related symptoms that result from common allergens such dust mites, pollen, and molds. Atopica can also be effective in treating related skin conditions.
Ideally, Atopica should be given 1-2 hours before meals and without food. Do not open capsules and do not sprinkle contents on food. Follow the exact directions set forth by your veterinarian. Your dogs dose may be reduced by your veterinarian after several weeks of treatment. Start Atopica 1-2 months before your dogs allergy season if his/her problems are seasonal in nature. Do not remove each capsule from the blister pack until you are ready to use it.
Atopica fights the underlying cause of skin allergies and related skin conditions by targeting the immune cells involved in an allergic reaction.
Your dogs allergy symptoms should be reduced which should result in your dog feeling better. His/her skin should start to look less inflamed and he/she should itch less which should result in less skin lesions. You will need to be patient. Results are not immediate and it may take several weeks for you to notice a difference. Results will vary from patient to patient.
No drug is 100% safe in all patients, but your veterinarian will discuss with you any specific concerns about using this drug in your animal. This drug SHOULD NOT be used in dogs: That are allergic to it; With suspected cancer or a history of cancer.
This drug should be used WITH CAUTION in dogs: That have an infection; With liver or kidney disease; That are pregnant or nursing; With a seizure disorder (eg, epilepsy); That are under 4 lb (2 kg) body weight or younger than 6 months old.
If your animal has any of these conditions, talk to your veterinarian about the potential risks versus benefits.

My dog at 14 years suddenly developed a severe yeast infections due to allergies. She was chewing her paws till there was no more fur and they bled. She suddenly became prone to ear and eye infections. I took her to a dog dermatologist and after a trying a few different meds and strict food diet, we found that with a combination of Atopica and Terbinafine she is feeling much better. Her hair has grown back, the flakey, smelly secretions are gone, and her energy and playfulness has returned. Unfortunately she will have to remain on this medication for the rest of her life...and it's not cheap. We started at 3 pills a week, but finally found that at 4 times a week she is doing much better. She is very stubborn to take these pills, they have a garlic smell, and they can't be taken with food, so it's a fight to shove them down her throat and hold her till she swallows. (the itching/chewing and ear problems return if she misses even one pill) I keep them in the freezer, which help them dissolve slowly to avoid tummy issues, which she hasn't had. (Zoey is a now 15-yr old Cairn Terrier) Atopica saved my dogs life!
My Dr recommended getting my dogs prescriptions at chewy and they are very helpful and knowledgeable and I always get the meds on time. They are truly remarkable. Atopica great for my dog’s allergies.
The service and delivery thru Chewy was great. Fast service considering it needs a presc from Vet. My problem is that it gave my Sheltie very bad diarrhea. We have discontinued med for a few days to see if we can stop the diarrhea.
My cat began gnawing and excessively licking multiple areas of his body to the point of bleeding. He lost a lot of hair and had open, bleeding wounds because of it. Within a month I noticed a huge difference. He no longer gnaws and all his hair has grown back in those areas. He is so much happier, too.
My dog has been this medicine for a year for his Autoimmune disease. Now his gums are growing over this teeth. We have an appointment to have his teeth lasered But I was told his gums will grow back over his teeth.
If your pet needs this medication then you need to order it. Make sure you store in freezer. Give with food.
The atopica has really helped my little doxie girl get much better, her joints don’t seem as achy and she has a better quality of life now.
It is too early to know if this is working for my dog's condition. My complaint is that he needs 75 mg twice a day, so he gets 1-25 mg and 1 - 50 2 times a day. I wish they came in 75 mg but mostly I hate opening the blister packs.
Service on order and delivery was prompt. Dog had side effects but that does not reflect on the medication. I don’t think it is appropriate to “recommend” a prescription drug
Our order was delayed by the Vet but your “super service” saved the day!
