We have tried several different wet food including making our own, and most recently Weruva, mideast feast, which we thought our three cats loved. We decided to try Authority because not only did the ingredient list look better than Weruva but it was half the price. All three of our cats went bananas for Authority. One of our cats jumped onto the counter when I was dishing it our for the first time (they do not jump on the counter when we are around.)
This is the first adult food I've fed my 1 year old kitty. I fed her kitten formula Purina pro plan pate before. She is normally a good eater and will eat every drop of what I put in front of her. She won't eat this food. I have to heat it up to increase the smell or mix it with some Purina kitten kibble I still have left over. I think it might be bland or something. Not for us!
I have 4 cats and was biased if they would like this food so I even bought backup food for them. While it wasn't their favorite on day one, over the days they started meowing at me for this food. Even my picky eater liked this food more than the Purina Beyond food. it became a sensation over time.
Ozzy won’t eat any of your pate flavors other than beef.. he nibbles on this and the seafood flavor as if he’s willing to try them as soon as I put them down because he’s always happy about food and wants to eat.. he just won’t get more than a bite in to anything other than beef:(
After extensive research for a healthy and affordable cat food I found this one, my cat loves chicken and pate so win win
After learning of the benefits of wet food for my furry friend, I made the switch. My cat loves it! And the price is hard to beat.
Great ingredients for the price. Meat based and low carb. I read a review of it on allaboutcats and decided to try it. My two cats like it even better than the Wellness chicken pates I bought before. I wish a variety pack was available!
I’m sure this is a great product since it’s already garnered wonderful reviews, only my cat wouldn’t eat it. We fed it to her everyday for a week and she barely licked it. So, this isn’t a bad review about the food, just information that she wouldn’t even try it.
Various cats would not eat it, finicky or not finicky. Even dogs wouldn't touch it and they eat anything.
Tried this wet food as have several picky eaters. Seems to be a hit - like that is grain free and a good price. Got tired of throwing out lots of high priced grain free food that my cats would not eat.
