Recommend for picky eaters

My 7 yr old chihuahua doesn’t eat many Dry dog foods and she ate this one the first day. Seems like all of the ingredients are healthier than the one she was eating before which is made with corn. Thanks for having a lot of choices Chewy!

It's okay, but not a winner

I have been trying to find a new food for my chihuahuas and have tried a few different brands. This food is okay. My chihuahuas will eat it some of the time, but they don't love it. I have to mix it with canned food and water to get them to eat it. The kibble is on the smaller size, but for miniature or toy breeds, even smaller kibble would better. I don't love that it has wheat in the ingredients. It was only rated 3 stars on Dog Food Advisor, so I believe it is a middle of the line food.

When our Harper wasn’t finishing her meals, and she’s ~10 months old so that’s kind of an issue, we bought 3 bags of different food and calculated how much she had eaten of each food. This food came out the winner! It’s also one of the lower priced foods that doesn’t skimp in nutritional value or has weird ingredients that you can’t pronounce or understand. A+ from me and the pup! That’s the best gauge to a good food! And SUCH a great deal for a huge bag. Completely awesome. I’ll keep buying it!

Chewy always has the items I need. My dog has a sensitive stomach and diet changes do not go well. Chewy always has the items I need and I do not have to haul the bags and flats of canfood.

Hey my dog loves it what can I say.. I do mix two brands together to make it a bit more fun for his eating. I mix IAMS Proactive Health Mature Adult Dry Dog Food and this Authority Lamb & Rice Formula Small Breed Adult Dry Dog Food together and he don't come up for air until it's all gone!! lol :-) Now he loves this Authority food great just all alone by it self. I only do this as cost saving measure and for more wellness and nutritional needs. Hope this helps. Buy with confidence. RagenRat
