Dog loves them, I hate them
Our dog Holly LOVES this flavor and these pill pockets, but they are an absolute bear to work with. You can split them with your nail, but they’re too dry and crumbly to work well and form back around the pill. The Zoe brand works so much better for the same price and she likes those well enough, so we will be switching back. It took me 1/4 of the time to prep her pills last night in the Zoe brand as it has using these for the last month or so.
awful smell
These are the most disgusting things I've ever experienced. They smell so bad I can't even open the bag while breathing. They also fall apart when you put a pill inside them. I had to ball them for several minutes to get it to all stick together and the pill not fall out. Then the stech was on my hands. I'm returning the unsed bags I ordered.
Dry and crumbly. Not fit for purpose.
How are these even suppose to work?!They are not squishy. You can’t fit the tablet in any space. There are none. Nor moould it around as it’s the wrong texture. It is just like a crumbly chew it falls apart. I agree with the other one star review. Absolutely useless
Easy to use & my dogs like it
I have a dog that is allergic to corn. So I’m always looking for a corn free option no matter type of product it is. I like that these are individually wrapped to keep them soft. They are easy to use and easy to give medication to your dog.
Nice pill wrap for pups
We typically order the pill wrap in a jar, but they were out of stock. We wanted to find a product with better ingredients than the brand name "pill pockets". Our little dog with medical issues eats these with no issues. We do end up keeping the opened chew in a baggie, since we use a smaller portion for our little dog at a time.
Dry & Crumbly
These are not pill pockets; they are dry solid pieces that crumbled when inserting the pill. I was able to insert a small pill and salvage enough crumbs to cover the pill. They do not work for capsules. She was able to spit out the capsule and eat the crumbs. Too bad since the ingredients are better than most pill pockets. Made expensive treats out of them.
Great better than most ingredient list
excellent product, very moldable, comes with half breakpoint, and you can easily separate it in much smaller pieces if you don't need so much. Taste that my puppy enjoys while taking her pills. Better than most products on the market ingredient-wise
Great product for hiding capsules and pills!
Noticed this new product on Chewy and liked the all natural ingredients (barley flour, chicken, dried apple pomace, etc) vs other products so decided to try it. Really like the soft texture which makes it easy to mold around and hide the large 2x daily gabapentin capsules. Best of all my dog loves the taste and hasn't spit one capsule out since I made the switch!!! Definitely recommend for any dogs on daily meds!
Hard Rock Candy
Hard as a rock, these pill pockets do not wrap around pills well and are environmentally wasteful with each pill wrapped in plastic. My poor Charlie couldn't swallow the pill pocket and got it stuck in his throat. Save your money!
