    Unexpected change

By Hammymama on Nov 20, 2019

I had gotten the small breed chicken before and wanted to try something a little different. I was surprised to find the kibble is larger and there is a very high proportion of chondroitin. I will stick to the chicken.

Senior dog eats it with gusto!

By Koko on Nov 22, 2019

My old girl seems to like it...then again, she eats anything. Her poos are solid on this providing I don't feed her too much at one time. She eats 6 cups a day. Great dane :)

    Silky Smooth, Shiny Coat

By BUSTER on Aug 10, 2019

At 9 years old, Buster's luxurious coat is getting noticed. Lots of petting from strangers who ask, "How old is your pup?" Buster's energy has improved as well as the coat. Would highly recommend this healthy, basic food alternative for your senior.

    So far, so good.

By MBHead on Nov 13, 2018

I was looking to convert my allergy-prone 7-year old pit mix and my senior boxer to the same food and decided I'd try this. They've both been on it for two weeks now and are eager to eat it. The pit mix doesn't seem to have any additional ear and paw issues, which is good and the only noticeable change in the boxer is more solid stools. I've added a tablespoon of coconut oil to prevent any hard bowel movements. So far, we are happy with it.

    Not sure what to do

    By Goodearth58 on Feb 17, 2018

I have been buying Ojien for my dog for years but it is no longer being carried at Chewy so. I bought AvoDerm as a replacement she is hesitant with this new food since Chewy gave no warning that they wouldn't be carring Ojijen I had very little to mix in with the new. She was picking the new food out and putting it on the floor and only eats it out of desperation. Her stools are small and very dry like rabbit pellets. I am ready to reorder something else but now I have to switch again I feel bad she has been a different dog without the Ojijen.

Beautiful coats for my 2 old pups!

By jfree on Dec 31, 2017

My 2 girls are seniors, have dry coats, and one has really bad food allergies, so finding the best combination food for them has been a process, to say the least. The AvoDerm Senior Health Lamb Meal Dry Dog Food has been a godsend! Both dogs LOVE the kibble, which is suitable for both my small 10lb terrier mix and my 55lb Aussie mix. The limited ingredients are perfect for any dog with food allergies (I was spending +/- $1k on vet bills every year for my Aussie's gastrointestinal problems), and the healthy coat ingredients have left both dogs with shiny soft fur :) We're all very happy!

My 10 year old loves this food. Being on a senior food worried me, but she's doing well with it and is maintaining a healthy weight and coat :)

    Avoderm Senior Formula

    By Mimi2five on Jan 7, 2018

I am happy with the service I've received so far but can't really comment on the dog food because this was my first order and am just now transitioning my two pugs over to this new formula. I purchased it because I'd heard good things about it.
