Good food, but not for my pup

    By on

I liked the quality of the ingredients on this one and that you can see real potato and carrot pieces in the food. My cats like Avoderm so I thought I’d give the dog food a shot. My pup just wasn’t a fan. She did eat it, but only after becoming desperate and lots of heavy protest. If you’re trying this brand for the first time, I’d suggest a different variety.. one that doesn’t contain vegetables.

    Good Food, Good Ingredients

    By on

We (my Cane Corso and myself) really liked this canned food. I liked the ingredients list, and my pup liked the taste. We were using it to “spice up” her kibble.

    Appetizing and no issues

    By on

I cook my own organic dog food for my two standard poodles, one of whom has extremely sensitive digestion. If I am jammed for time between batches, I serve this AvoDerm stew and my dogs enjoy it. I've tried many premium brands for their "interim" food, and this one has turned out to be very good bang for the buck. No bad belly or unpleasant gas.

    My dogs love it!

    By on

My dogs really love this, and my Chihuahua/IG who has had skin and tummy troubles with chicken and beef based foods, has no problem with the turkey stew. I love that I can see actual peas, carrots, and potatoes--instead of a can of indistinguishable mush. I just wish it contained some grains--with everything in the news about grain free foods causing heart problems, some rice would certainly be welcome in this food.

    Late delivery,!

    By on

The delivery was not 1-2 days as promised it took five days (and arrived later in the day)and we had to go out to buy food to fill in the gap for our 16 week old puppy. She also did not find this food very enticing and usually did not find it interesting.

    My dog loves AvoDerm stews

    By on

I have to confess that my dog does not really know the difference between Champaign and Prosecco. But then again neither do I. All I knows he just gobbled the stuff down like it’s going out of style
