All 7 of my cats refuse to eat it

    By on

Unfortunately NONE of my cats will eat these... Three of them will actually go through the "bury" motions any time it's in their dish. I've been trying to sneak it into other food by mixing it together, since I bought a whole case... but they manage to eat around it. It must taste pretty bad, since 4 of my cats are recent outdoor "dumped" rescues that lived in the woods, and are used to eating whatever they can find, no matter how bad.

    Good enough?

    By on

I got this food for a husky boy that all three fur heads have to eat. Initially everyone agreed. But as we progressed into the 2nd case, no one seemed interested any longer. Last time I checked, even my “stray” outdoor fur head respectfully declined. So nothing bad to say, it’s just not for us.

    He Loves it

    By on

My fat boy Jack would probably eat anything, but the AvoDerm seems to keep him full longer and he's not begging as much. I do mix a little water with it.

    My cats love it

    By on

My cats can be a bit picky and one of them used to only eat Friskies shredded food. He is now on a diet and I was worried he would turn up his nose at this. He really likes it as does my younger cat.

    Not So Good

    By on

One of the points to feeding canned food is for the moisture. I found each can very, very dry. Thought it might be just one or two cans, but it’s all I’ve tried. Cats aren’t happy with it even after adding broth or water.

    Disappointed

    By on

I tried Avoderm Indoor Weight Control Formula which comes in only one flavor, mostly chicken with a little tuna. Because my cat, Lizzie is having allergy problems which I have thusfar been unable to prevent, I tried Avoderm based on a recommendation from a local pet food supplier and a review from one of your customers. My cats do like the dry lobster and crab formula, but Lizzie wasn't fond of this flavor of wet food. I will be returning it and trying another brand, Blue Buffalo which has a fish formula with quite a bit of fiber. Lizzie needs that as well. I appreciate the opportunity to return the Avoderm without cost to you.

Even Feral Cats Won't Eat It

    By on

I am so disappointed that my two indoor cats won't eat this selection of AvoDerm. They liked the chicken and salmon but not this. I have a colony of feral cats living in my backyard and they turn their noses up at it. I am stuck with a case of it and have to mix it with the other canned food my cats won't eat either! One way or another it will get eaten just not by my cats!

    AvoDerm weight control

    By on

My cat eats pretty much anything, which is probably why she's overweight. My cat will eat this, but doesn't devour it which I guess is a good thing. The pate is very thick, so after taking it out of the fridge ( she gets a small portion at a time), I have to add a little water and microwave it on a plate for 5 seconds.
