Cat Loves This
By Hilly on Jan 16, 2021
I was skeptical my very overweight cat wouldn’t like this due to it being a diet food, and so in anticipation I purchased a meal topper to mix into it if necessary. I’ve gone through 6 cans so far without my cat having any reservations. She seems to like the flavor a lot.

Cats did not like
By JenZ on Feb 7, 2021
I was hoping my cats liked this but they did not. I don't know if it's was the texture, flavor or both, but neither cat would eat it. On to the next one trying to find a weight lose wet food.

Healthy, tasty, really works
By Katty on Dec 27, 2020
My cat loved it better than many other brands we've tried. he poops solidly and less often so that means his body is using more, wasting less! He's trying to loose weight but it takes a while so I can't say for sure this food helps with weight loss, but he sure hasn't gained any weight either so that's a good sign

Saved my sanity and then some
By InkieVitto on Nov 8, 2020
I have two indoor cats that were on Shiba pate and cuts food for months. One developed high cholesterol and ballooned to 23 lbs (he was already heavy before), while the other one suddenly began having daily diarrhea. The one with diarrhea has lymphoma cancer for years, which manifests itself on her GI. Since she went into remission six months ago, she got off of her chemo and seemed stabile until about a month ago when the diarrhea began overnight. Her oncologist could not figure out why, her internist just did $4,000 worth ultrasound and stomach and intestine biopsy. And while I'm waiting for the results in a couple of days, my girl somehow got into this food that's meant for her overweight I have two indoor cats that were on Shiba pate and cuts food for months. And while I'm waiting for the results in a couple of days, my girl somehow got into this food that's meant for her overweight brother, definitely not for her (can't afford to have her lose any weight). What happened the next day? Her stool suddenly became almost all normal! No more diarrhea, no more uncontrollable urination. I am speechless and happy that it boiled down to the food, so now trying to figure out which other flavor/type is available by this brand that is not meant for weight loss. My sick cat is happy and I'm beyond excited. Now if I could only get my heavy guy to shed his pounds, but that'll take more than an overnight miracle! … more

A food he really likes
By Gaby on Feb 12, 2021
For a weight loss food, the cat really enjoys it. I would like it if they sold the food in 3oz cans instead of 6oz but either way the cat really likes it.

My Kitties Are Thriving
By Jude on Jan 11, 2021
My Kitties are thriving since I’ve been giving them Avoderm Indoor Weight Control Recipe. One of my kitties was so heavy he could barely walk. Now he lost weight, walks wonderfully and his eyes are bright. My other kitties love it too.

It’s PATE’
By CrazyCat on Dec 29, 2020
My mistake in not realizing that this is pate’. My cat really only likes slices in gravy but he’s eating this! Not happily, but I’m relieved. The ingredients are healthy and that’s what’s important.

SO MUCH FOR HEALTHY
By JustJack on Dec 19, 2020
My cats hate this food. I was looking for a healthier wet food to get more water into my cats' diets (I have four). Well, this was just a waste of money. Not going to work if your cats won't eat it. Very disappointed.

Different content
By Motia on Nov 24, 2020
They changed the colour of the labels on the cans, and apparently they changed the content. One of my 2 cats throws up this food now. Nowadays it is hard to find out where the food is made, since it is monthly “manufactured for” or “distributed by.” I am yet to find out if it is still made in the US.

Hmm not sure if we should use anymore
By Concerned on Dec 26, 2020
This stuff was great at first, but after a couple of cases my cats started throwing this up and I don’t understand why..
