Allow your kitten to free feed until fully weaned (approximately 6 - 8 weeks). After weaning, your kitten can be fed AvoDerm® Kitten moistened or dry. Develop a regular feeding schedule starting with 3 small meals a day for younger kittens. As your kitten gets a little older, gradually reduce the feeding to twice a day. As your kitten reaches 1 year, they may not eat as much and this is normal. Start reducing the amount fed to ensure proper weight maintenance and to prevent overeating.

AvoDerm® Chicken & Herring Meal Kitten Formula is pressure cooked to ensure your kitten receives optimum nutrition from high quality ingredients. AvoDerm® is naturally formulated to be complete and balanced with added vitamins and minerals, and other essential ingredients for your kitten.

    Difficult to Find!

    By on

Pieces are the perfect size & my cats love this food! I have however went to order it several times & it shows currently unacceptable. The product itself is wonderful & is a better food at a very reasonable price. Chewy's lack of consistency in keeping it in stock is frustrating.

My kitten finally will eat a kitten food with this one

    By on

Looked at all the kitten foods this one is one of the top foods offered. The ingredients are great the size of the kibble is nice. After another reviewer stated their elder cat liked it too I wanted to try. She was right my very senior girl loved this and seems happy along with my kitten. Both of their coats are shiny and soft.

    Kittens love it

I foster kittens and sometimes they can be picky about their foods - especially those that have health issues. Most of my kittens really like this food and it seems to agree with their digestive system.

    Avoderm Chicken & Herring

I bought this for my senior cat to try. He needs food that is easy to eat and digest. He is normally very picky, but he seems to really like this.

    beautiful results

I adopted 2 of 4 rescued male malnourished 12 week old kittens. They were rescued at about 9 weeks by a good Samaritan who tried to prepare them for adoption. Their mother was so sick, she died shortly afterwards. Of the 4 babies, one other littermate died, and the other was born with only 3 legs. My two little twin boys had thin and scraggly fur and one had NO hair on the tail at all. Yet they were playful and unbelievably loving. After 6 weeks on this food, you would not believe their appearance.... Sleek and healthy, with fur so soft, even the vet commented on the texture of their fur, and how quickly it had developed. They are solid grey with no white and the fur actually SHINES like I adopted 2 of 4 rescued male malnourished 12 week old kittens. They are still the most loving and social cats I have ever had....Hurray for AvoDerm. … more
