Precautions

We recommend storing all of our natural treats in the freezer or refrigerator since they do not contain any preservatives. No need to thaw, your dog will love them frozen! Please supervise your pet while giving a treat or chew and dispose of properly if it becomes a choking hazard or develops sharp edges. Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary—this is normal. You may also notice a natural scent and oil while your pal chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety.

  • Keeps the pups busy for hours

My Springer Spaniel, 2 years old and English Setter, 1 year old loved these Treats and they chewed and chewed for a long time. They also chewed on them later in the day, I keep them out for them to return for another chew.

  • YUK! Not a good bone!

    By on

This bone was so slimy I couldn't get it off my hands. Gave it to my dog outside but when I saw he broke off a piece which you could have used as a weapon I threw the rest in the trash. I don't need vet bills regardless of it being made in the USA.

  • Finally a bone that my dog loves and doesn't splinter!

I admit, I was dubious when a Chew staffer recommended this to me. I thought, it looks like something that would be unsafe for my dog who is an aggressive chewer. Looks like it could splinter or break into pieces or even worse, cause stomach upset. My fur baby has a VERY sensitive stomach. Well, we are 3 days into the bone and no issues yet! My girl is a Pitador (pit/lab mix) and aggressive doesn't begin to explain her pattern of biting - and so far no stomach upset, her stool are just a bit softer but otherwise formed and nice, and although I do watch when she bites, nothing has splintered or broken off, and she has already done some damage. And unlike the antlers I bought her, she is thoroughly enjoying it, it must taste delicious because when I come to get it from her she runs away with it and holds onto it for dear life when I try to take it away for the day (I don't let her chew it when I cannot be with her) That's the first time she's done that with any bone! I'll be buying more of these for sure. But note, it's a BIG bone so it's not for dogs under 50 pounds - my girl is 50 and she seems to handle it well but if she were smaller I think this would be too big. … more

  • Two pits love these bones

    By on

My two pits love to play, chew, and gnaw these bones. What can I say, If your lovies are chewers then these bones are for them. I've purchased 2 of each of your bones for 2 pits that loves them until they disappear. Many more chews to go. Ruff ruff.

  • Best shin bone yet!

    By on Top 50 Contributor

This is going to be a frequent on our autoships! Most shin bones still have the tiny, marble sized knuckle bones still attached at each end that must be watched for and taken away once they are chewed off to prevent ingestion and possible choking. THIS bone already has these tiny bones removed, meaning I don't have to supervise the first hour of enjoyment! Just give and go! These bones are long lasting and well loved by both my Standard Poodle and our rescue pitbull - and if a bone can stand up to a pitbull for an entire month of chewing enjoyment, than it's a good bone to have! This bone seems to be our lab's favorite. Chews on it for hours and comes back to it the next day which is rare with most bones
