So far, So good
By MountainGirl on Mar 2, 2021
We just received this and the size 3 fits our 50 lb. German Shepherd mix perfectly. We got this because our trainer requires it before they start working with potentially aggressive dogs. Our dog seemed to calm down as soon as we put it on and she did not try to remove it. It did not seem to restrict her from eating a treat or panting. I look forward to seeing how she does with it in during training.

Disappointed
By Tngirl on Feb 7, 2021
I got these muzzles for two dogs to prevent the ability to bite each other. One could push the muzzle off underneath his chin with his front paws. The other wore his but the rope strap slid down the side constantly. There's is nothing preventing this style muzzle from sliding over the top of the dog's head, AT ALL. The top strap is slick nylon and with pressure, loosened the longer the dog wore it. All this puts the dog(s) at risk of bite/fight. The 3 comes right in line of view for short nosed dog but works for long nosed dog. The 3 is too narrow for short nosed dog but the 4 would be too wide and be easily pawed off. The 3 is right width for long nosed dog. Good attempt at a secure prevention I got these muzzles for two dogs to prevent the ability to bite each other. It needs side straps that secure to the collar or some type of harness apparatus. The thing between the eyes is ineffective. … more

Hard to size correctly
By Bowie on Feb 28, 2021
I measured my chocolate lab’s head before ordering, but it still was massive on his head. I thought I lucked out when I saw that the size I thought would fit him was the only size left. I was wrong, so I’m going to donate this muzzle to my local animal shelter and probably order another muzzle someplace else, as Chewy’s selection was a bit disappointing.

Does not work as advertised
By Rachel on Jan 22, 2021
First of all the description in the online says that the muzzle can be formed to shape the face of your dog but the instructions when read from the paper when you get it does not mention that at all. I don't know why it is advertised that way when the product is not designed to function in the matter. Secondly the product description on the paper instructions indicate that is designed to prevent pets from eating stuff on the ground while walking them yet the the instructions say dogs can pick up treats with the muzzle on. That is completely contrary to the purpose.

Better than a cone of shame
By futureMACH on Feb 28, 2021
My old dog had nerve damage in his leg from surgery and would chew his foot (actually ate a toe clean off his foot). He hated wearing a cone, but was fine in a muzzle. I was able to re-shape it a little based on the directions on the manufacturer website - heat it in very hot water, squeeze to reshape, then douse in cold water.

a little too big
By dogmom on Feb 25, 2021
I bought this thinking my pup needed to go up a size based on other muzzle brands, but this one is just way too big. He has worn a size 4 in other brands, which are just a tad small. Disappointed that we won't be able to use it, but it does look like a quality item.

Great Muzzle!
By Queenie on Jan 20, 2021
This is my second Baskerville muzzle. They have made some changes, which eliminate buckling and the struggle to find a good place to snap the overcheck strap. The neck strap is now a snap closure with a locking feature, instead of a buckle. No longer have to find a place to tuck the excess neck strap. Overall, good changes. I just have to be careful not to lock the neck strap when I snap it around dog's neck.

Perfect for our herding mini Aussie!
By Anjee on Mar 1, 2021
Our mini Aussie LOVES to herd runners and bikers and the runners and bikers do not appreciate it. This muzzle is comfortable and he can easily drink, take treats through it as well as pant. Highly recommend!

Baskerville dog muzzle
By daniel on Dec 30, 2020
this muzzle is better than our first purchase - a fabric soft muzzle, which we use now & then depending on the circumstance. We like the Baskerville muzzle as it allows the dog more room to breathe, and protects us from biting. We did experience an unexpected feature - it sometimes falls off the dogs face, falling forward. We can get it back on without too much trouble, but the next time we use it we are going to try to tie or connect the muzzle to the dog's collar behind his head

very good, as always REQUIRES TRAINING
By jenny on Feb 9, 2021
Good quality muzzle and best value for the price, but everyone in the reviews seems to need a reminder that dogs must be muzzle trained in order to use it. If you stick it on the dog of course they are going to struggle out and chew it up. Please look into the use of muzzles and the training they require before buying.
