Medication for my little dog
My little girl seems much better since she has been on the medication. I was so pleased that I was able to get her medication from chew.
Great but need pill pockets
These came just in time! Really appreciated. The only thing is they are hard purple pills unlike the brown flavored ones you may get from the vet directly. You’ll definitely want pill pockets! If you need to half any of them it might be a little difficult. I just wish the score they make in the pill to do were a little deeper.
BAYTRIL CAN BLIND CATS
My cat Scott had liver problems and my vet prescribed BAYTRIL for him. Sadly, unknown to me at the time, a terrible side effect of BAYTRIL is that it can cause blindness in cats and sure enough, it blinded poor Scott. He walked against walls but mostly in circles. Poor guy didn't adjust after the week waiting time my vet suggested so between becoming blind and his liver issue he had to be euthanized. I don't blame my vet, he is excellent and was trying to save Scott's life. I think he would have needed euthanasia anyway even without being blind. I just want all cat parents to be aware of this terrible side effect of BAYTRIL and kitty blindness.
Rx delivery time is long
Rx seemed to work, although it's a big tablet. The only issue I have is with how long it takes to ship medication, 5 days after the Vet confirmation is too long.

RESCUE CHINA
I think this medication is a good Antibiotic overall. It is a stronger Antibiotic. It lists and works good for various illnesses and conditions inflammed with bacteria and fungus. My dog was prescribed it multiple times. It worked well each time and I seen a major improvement. Greatttt Medication!!!!!
Pill is very big for small doggies
The pill is very big for small doggies and the small and the taste are terrible! You have to broke it into some parts and push it into the dog's throat. However, it's a very efficient medication!
The tablets are HUGE
Not a good choice for a small breed dog as the tablets are HUGE - the size of a penny and at least twice as thick. I didn't realize when ordering that you can get this drug in a liquid (which I ended us getting from my vet), in flavored chewable tabs, in flavored soft chews and flavored powder. If you have a large breed dog that will take a pill, hidden in cheese or a pill pocket, in one gulp then you're golden. Otherwise opt for one of the other choices.
