Neat Intro to Hydroponics

I waited for this planter while it was out of stock. It seemed like a great little introduction to hydroponics. It’s too hot right now to plant anything so I just have it floating in the Comet tank which is outdoors and 300 gallons. It is constructed well and floats well without tipping over. It should serve as a proper planter for the lettuce I’ll try out in a few months when it cools down. The one thing I noticed that I’m not sure about is the planter moves around the tank as it should but when it is bumped by a Comet or goes under the low volume fountain, the pellets jump out and the Comets try to eat them. So far I have seen them all spit it out. I can easily take care of this by tying it to one side of the tank so it can’t go under the fountain. I can’t comment on durability yet.
