    Great Adventure for Dogs

    By on

This dog treat is squared and has some depth to it. My dogs love these and even the 35 pound doggie will gobble these up. They stay chewable longer than their flat counterparts from the same company but the dogs prefer these when given the choice between the two. They are perfect sized for a 30 pound dog and up but you can always break them up for smaller guys.

    Dogs loved them

I am very picky about the products I give to my pets. I don't want them having empty calories, but I also refuse to pay a small fortune for their treats. I was given a free bag of these treats in exchange for an honest review. Others complain about the aroma of these---I am a vegetarian, so all of these "meaty" treats & food cause me to to gag. To me, these did not smell any worse than others. I was suprised by the pillow like shape though. Yhese are too big for my small doggie. He received one after getting many baby shots at the vet & being such a trooper about it. My larger dog gobbled one & begged for more---so I allowed him 2 more. And he wanted even more. He is in love with these. The bag I am very picky about the products I give to my pets. I don't want them having empty calories, but I also refuse to pay a small fortune for their treats. I might buy them again, but I try to give fresh veggies as a treat and not these processed caloric items. These are for special occassions only. … more

    Great Idea, but...

    By on

Beggin' Adventures is taking the Beggin' brand in a new direction that is promising. I appreciate that meat is listed as the main ingredient, and that the product is made close to home. My dog enjoyed her treat but I had a hard time with the smell. Every time I open the bag, it makes me feel a bit queasy. Is it worth a little funky smell if my dog likes the treat? It might be. But she likes other treats as well, so I might not be in a hurry to repurchase. If you're looking for something affordable that prides itself as putting meat first, this might be worth checking out. It also might be worth a look if you're wanting to purchase more exotic meats for your pup in order to provide some Beggin' Adventures is taking the Beggin' brand in a new direction that is promising. My picky dog loves these

    By on

I have 3 Australian shepherds, 1 of which is extremely picky about what he will eat. Typically he want eat treats, but he actually liked these! Of course my other "eat everything in site " dogs also liked these. I have found about 4 or 5 kinda of treats mr. Picky will eat, these being 1 and probably the best price wise. I was not sure about some of the ingredients, why i knocked 1 star off. Will probably continue to use these sparingly. I did receive a free sample of these to try.

Bow WOW: They're Already Beggin for MORE!

    By on

I had no idea what to expect, but as soon as my package arrived, my 2 pooches went wild falling head over heals in love with this exquisite venison morsel. The smell permeated almost as soon as I was able to tear the top strip off the bag which drove my canine's wild! The treats are rather small but powerful and perfect for a quick treat and the quantity and the size of the bag & the price make up for this. I use them for small rewards and they still have plenty to last a few weeks. I open the bag and the smell has them beggin me for more so I have to watch where I store it (out of reach of pooches who know how to pop open a cabinet door!) Dogs liked them!

    By on

I was not sure what to expect with these but the dogs absolutely love them. I am so glad that these have REAL meat in them instead of byproducts. That is a step in the right direction. They didn't have a bad smell either like some dog treats and where easy to eat for both sizes of dogs that we have - medium and large. I would say give these a try if you are looking for a real meat treat that's affordable.

    Such a good product

    By on

My dog loves treats, but she is definitely picky and I can tell by her reaction if she is excited about her food or not. She LOVES these venison chews. Now, if she even hears a crinckle sound, she comes running in hopes it is her treat bag! I love how good the ingredients are compared to so many other dog treats on the market. And I have received food products in the mail and threw them away after reading the ingredients because I just couldn't feed it to my baby. I will definitely be buying these as soon as their gone. She won't forgive me if I don't! I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

My dog refuses to eat this

    By on

So you must be wondering why I give this product five stars if my dog refused to eat it. Well Ill tell you why. I thought the product was great, I liked the ingredients and the amount that I receive per bag. I also like the fact that the number one ingredient is real meat which is something that I look for in foods, toppers, and treats for my pets. I also think that the smell is actually okay, it smells like bacon to me. The size of one individual treat is a great serving size, especially for treats or snacks, its not too small like a pebble and its not too large like a bone, its somewhere in between making it easy for my dog to consume. Its also a mix of hard and soft with each bite. My dog So you must be wondering why I give this product five stars if my dog refused to eat it. Well Ill tell you why. My dog ate the treats the first time I gave them to her but every single time after that she would smell the treat, look around like as if shes looking for something else, and then she would walk away. I found that the treat was still in her bowl at the end of the day, it got all hard and stiff, so I threw it out. Then the next day I tried again to feed her just one of the treats but again she sniffed, looked around, walked away and left it there all day. I personally do not understand why she wont eat them anymore after the first time but in my opinion shes just being a bit too picky. So I decided to give the rest of the bag to my sister for her dogs and of course her dogs were all over the bag when she went home with it. Her dogs loved the treats so much that I am starting to think there is something wrong with my dog, ha-ha. In all seriousness though, this product is definitely worth it and even though my dog decided to be picky about this specific product, other dogs prove that its worth it and I approve 100%. Therefore I really do recommend this product and think that its worthy of five stars regardless of my picky dogs' opinion. … more

    Stinky But Great

    By on

I received these as a free sample in exchange for an honest review. If I could give a half star, I'd probably give these a 4.5, only because they smell so bad when you open up the bag. That said, the smell makes my dog come running from the next room, so it's clearly a great treat she loves! I do have to watch her weight and these have a higher calorie count than what I might otherwise give her, but she's so happy to have one I don't think she minds missing out on seconds.

    Good quality

    By on

Disclaimer: I received these treats as a free sample in exchange for an honest review. That being said, my dog really likes these. She's not picky in the slightest -- she'll eat any kind of treat, honestly. She's an American Pit Bull Terrier, so these treats are a little smaller than the treats she's used to. I like that these treats are venison as opposed to the typical beef or chicken; it's nice to change things up every once in a while.
