I found this to be a waste of money. It takes 3 double a batteries, as soon as I stick my dogs nail on the pad it just dogs out and stops spinning. DUH I am educated and NOT doing to much pressure. Just barely putting dogs nails on it it spins to slow to do anything. My dog is a 42lb Aussie Kelpie

I tried to use this on my puppy and it didn't work at all on his nails. Then my grandson knocked it off the table which is maybe a foot and a half off the floor and now this doesn't turn on at all anymore.

It works good for my dog and it didn’t Hurt him when I do it

It says it it is good for small and large breeds. I have a large breed and it doesn’t work at all. I was really looking forward to this because my baby was traumatized by clippers before I got her and I can’t even use this because it doesn’t do anything.

Ok, first thing...the veteran was traumatizing my dog! They were muzzling her, they drugged her just to clip her nails. She is 9 years old...Now, I did as instructed, to allow her to get use to this nail trimmer first. I told her this is your new friend, then I laid the trimmer next to her every time she lays down by me..then the second day I would turn the trimmer on for a few seconds then off...today she allowed me to trim her two front paws completely! I gave her treats after each paw she allowed me to trim. I will be doing her back paws in two days. I just love this trimmer and would recommend it to anyone that has the same issues I was having. The nail trimmer is very load my dogs were afraid of the nail trimmer

The drum rotates so slowly that it does not actually file off anything, much less a dog's nails. If you apply pressure, the drum doesn't rotate at all. I tried it on my own nails to see if it worked and nothing. Total waste of money.

Easy to use. Got dog used to the sound of the trimmer. It is easy to use and performs well. I recommend it.

If you follow the instructions to introduce your pet slowly and talk positive the whole time, your pet will like this. I have 2 chihuahuas that are 7 months old & they let me use this on all their nails without pulling away.

I used this on my Dachsund and he actually fell asleep as I did it !...very easy to use, I think it all depends on the breed....
